Needles: Death Eater Series

Chapter 9

Sarah Ann was the first to get up. She saw Rowan sleeping peacefully and she didn't want to disturb him as she got dressed.

Once that was done, she looked down upon him and just stared. Her heart has never been this full as it was right then and there. And she couldn't help but smile.

She quietly exited the room and went to her room. She opened the door and walked on in. Her smile grew wider as she realized that her babies coming home wasn't just a dream. It was reality. And she silently cried as she fell to her knees. Praying and thanking those above for the men who took the risk and brought them back to her.

After a few more silent tears she got up and kissed her babies lightly then walked out the room.

It was still early and she wanted to thank the guys for what they did. So, for starters she cleaned up the kitchen and decided to make a full breakfast. She knew that this wasn't going to be enough and she was going to be in debt to King and the club. But she didn't care. She would do anything for these men. Well almost anything.

That special part belongs to her man, Rowan. Her man. That sounded good to her. And her smile grew brighter.

After a bit of cleaning she started to make breakfast. Eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns, corn beef hash, sausage, pancakes, waffles. With additions of fruit, coffee, milk and juice.

As she undertook this task several of the men started to stir. You could hear them sniffing in the air like dogs when something smelled good. And as they filled on into the dining room each one saw her cooking away.

Ice came in next and he was salivating. "Damn girl. This smells good." He said as he tried to grab some bacon.

She smaked his hand. "Wait for your brothers." She said sternly. Ice held up his hands and smiled. And she returned it.

Next was King then Needles. They nodded to each other and sat down.

The only person she served was King. Then sat the food on the table and backed up. Granted there was an empty chair next to Needles she knew it wasn't her place. As much as she wanted to sit with him.

King took the first bite and moaned out loud. "Holy hell girl. Who knew you could cook like this. Its great. Dig in boys."

She smiled and said nothing. For no words needed to be said. She started to walk away when King called out to her.

"Sarah Ann where are you going?"

"To fix my plate and sit in the kitchen."

"Like hell you are."

She stood stock still and she caught the gaze of Needles. He was tense. But the next words that came out made him and Sarah Ann instantly relieved.

"There is an empty chair. Come sit with us."

She smiled and thanked King who just winked at her. The rest of the guys all smiled. Each one knowing what that ment. She was excepted fully as one of their own.

But what she did not expect was Brittany.

"Oohh something smells good." Brittany stated and went to get her a plate. Only to get stopped by King.

"What do you think you're doing Brittany? This food is not for you. If you're hungry make your own."

"But there is plenty here. Look there are four additional plates already made."

Just then Hammer and CoralAnne walked in and King told them two of the plates were theirs. They nodded and came and sat at the table.

Sarah Ann smiled and nodded to her sister and to Hammer. CoralAnne smiled as well with a look that said "We will talk later."

"Ok make that two." Brittany whined.

"No." King said.

"But King." She whined and everyone at that table knew what was coming next.

Slowly King stood and huffed out a breath. His words were not to be argued and she was doing just that.

However Brittany got a life saving break when the sound of pitter patters could be heard coming.

"Mommy" The voices called out. And Sarah Ann stood from the table.

Brittany caught glance of this and her mouth dropped wide open. It was the first time she noticed that Sarah Ann was sitting at the table. And if looks could kill, Sarah Ann would be dead.

"What the fuck is she doing sitting at the table and not me." Brittany called out.

Needles  and several of the brothers went to stand but King stopped them. So Needles and the guys sat back down.

"She is welcomed. You're not. "

"Mommy." The voices got clearer and Sarah Ann went to her babies as they entered the room.

She wrapped them in a hug and kissed them each on the cheeks. "Are you hungry my darlings?"

"Yes ma'am." The both answered in unison.

"Well come on little munchkins your momma cooked a good breakfast. And there are two chairs left for you." King said out loud and went to get the kids breakfast as Sarah Ann got them settled at the table.

Brittany grew angrier by the minute and no one at that table could care less. Not even Needles.

"Morning Uncle Ice." Alexandria said and kissed his cheek. Ice smiled sweetly and soft chuckles could be heard from several of the men at the table.

"Moring Uncle Hammer." Blaze said. And Hammer replied morning.

Brittany stormed out of the room in a huff and no one cared enough to shrug.

But what caught everyone's attention at the table is what was said next. "Morning Daddy." The two young kids said looking straight at Needles.

King froze as he just stepped back from placing their food in front of them.

Needles couldn't help but choke up.

"Um. Babies why did you say that?" Sarah Ann asked. She didn't know how they knew or how Needles was going to handle it. In fact everyone sitting at that table was stock still.

"Cause he is momma. Can't you see how much he looks like us? He is our daddy right momma?" Blaze asked

"Babies you know who he is?" Sarah Ann asked softly as she tried to hold back her tears.

"Yeah mommy we do. Its not hard to figure out. He looks like us." Blaze said confidently.

"He is our daddy. Right mommy?" Alexandria asked quietly.

"Yes baby he is." Sarah Ann confirmed. And she smiled looking at Needles.

Needles got up and came over to the two little angels and kneeled to them.

"Hi." He said unsure of what was going to happen next.

But what made Sarah Ann cry and run out the door was when her, no their two kids, hug Needles tightly.

Sarah Ann couldn't contain her feelings and ran outside. The only place she felt like she could breathe was out on the field.

She didn't know how long she was on her knees crying until she felt the embrace of the man that had her entire being in the palm of the hand.

Needles wrapped himself around her and cried with her for the first time.

Once her tears had slowed and she was finally able to speak. She apologized. "I'm so sorry Rowan. I am so sorry."

"Stop baby. Its ok." He said softly.

"No its not." She said shaking her head. "I kept them from you because of my own pride. My selfish foolish pride." As her tears started to fall again.

"It doesn't matter. You're here now. That's what counts."

Sure he missed all their firsts. And probably a lot more if they weren't taken from her. And she told him this as he held her.

"Enough baby. We are together now. Let's just focus on that. Everything happens for a reason. And maybe this was the reason to get us together again."
