"Huh. Didn't think you'd actually show up." Kiera said.
Antonio smirked as he pressed up against the chain-link fence, hands balling into fists as he look down at Kiera. She brought her hands up, covering his fists through the metal wire as a confident smile split her lips.
"So... ready to lose to a girl?" she asked.
"Not to brag, but I am a foot taller than you." Antonio replied.
"Boy, height don't matter on the court. Besides, I think you're forgetting the small matter of the white man's inability to jump. I'm gonna fly all over you."
Antonio pushed himself up further, and it was everything Kiera could do not to bite her lip at the way his muscles flexed beneath his tee. Today was the day. Win or lose, she'd tell him exactly how she felt.
"Challenge accepted, little girl. Let's play ball." he growled.
