murder of chrissy cunningham
(part one) !( march twenty-second, nineteen
eighty-six ... night , eddie munson's
trailer ! )── ✧ ──
SOMETHING BAD WAS ABOUT TO HAPPEN. SOMETHING that Eddie Munson did not expect at all. Coming back from the room and seeing Chrissy in such a frozen state was not apart of the plan that he had. He was very much worried for the girl, and considering how she had been acting lately, his worry just intensified even more. He didn't know what exactly had been wrong. The metalhead felt sick to his stomach. As he was walking toward the female, he waved a hand to try and get her attention. No movement, no noise. Chrissy was just standing there, dazed. Eddie walked up closer to the popular cheerleader, still worried. Eddie was starting to get second thoughts about this. Maybe she had something before she came here? He didn't really know for sure. But watching Chrissy just stand there scared the shit out of him. He then tried tapping on her shoulder to get her attention.
"Chrissy," Eddie said in a slight sing-song voice, "Chrissy!"
Nothing. Kept tapping her shoulder, kept calling her name. It wasn't until the lights throughout the trailer that Eddie's freaking out intensified. Looking around at the flickering lights, a scared look appeared on his face. The male frantically turned back to the cheerleader.
"Chrissy!" Eddie called, louder than before, "Chrissy wake up!"
The lights were flickering even faster. Eddie kept tapping her shoulder to get her to snap out of whatever trance that she was in. He even resulted to snapping in her face. Anything that could possibly grab her attention back into reality. But none of it worked.
"Chrissy! Chrissy wake up!" Eddie called louder, more frightened than before, "I don't like this Chrissy, wake up!"
Still nothing. Absolutely nothing. Meanwhile in the realm that Chrissy was in the upside down, crying. She had no idea what was going on and she wanted to get out. But it was too late. She was caught. She was surrounded. She was trying to break down a wooden area and she couldn't escape.
The female turned to see a very peculiar creature. It looked like a person, but it wasn't a person. It didn't even look human. The female backed up against the wall that she had ran into a while ago. She couldn't escape. She couldn't hide. She couldn't do anything. She was stuck. She was about to die and she couldn't do anything about it.
"Chrissy. . ." The creature spoke, making her more terrified than ever before, "Don't cry."
Chrissy couldn't help but to cry. She didn't know where she was. She didn't know why she was experiencing this. She thought that she was going absolutely insane.
In the normal realm, Eddie was still trying to get Chrissy to snap out of it. He kept tapping her on the shoulder, kept snapping in her face. He tried anything to snap her back into reality. The male was really worried about her well-being. And the fact that the lights in his trailer was acting crazy didn't make matters any better.
"Chrissy!" Eddie kept calling out, "Chrissy wake up, now! Chrissy!"
The flashing of the lights were flashing faster and faster. Meanwhile, Chrissy was in the darkness with this monster that she had never seen before. Tears running down her face, the creature eventually spoke again.
"Chrissy. . ." The monster started once again, "It is time for your suffering to end."
With their long talons that could possibly pass for fingers, the creature put them up to Chrissy's face. It was like he was sucking the life out of her. Every bit of life that she had was going away.
In the normal realm, Eddie stopped what he was doing, and he noticed that Chrissy was floating off of the ground. He looked up in disbelief, trying to process what was happening. But he couldn't even believe that he was seeing something like this. He didn't even believe that something like this could happen.
The metalhead backed up, just staring. There was nothing else that he could do. He felt awful about it. But he was going to be traumatized due to the next thing that he was about to see.
Chrissy's body flew up to the ceiling, her body practically smacked into it. This made Eddie fall backwards, a scared mutter escaping his lips as he watched the whole thing go down. And when her bones started to snap, a scream escaped from the metalhead's lips.
Every bone has been snapped. And the last thing that he saw was her eyes get sucked out of her sockets. The body fell to the ground, lifeless in front of the boy. Poor Eddie did not know what to do. Tears running down his face, he managed to stand up from where he had fallen. Eddie did not know what else to do. He did the only thing that he thought he could do.
Eddie ran out of the trailer in a panic. He quickly went into his own truck and he drove off. No goodbye to anyone. He didn't tell anyone where he was going. He didn't even know where he was going himself, but he knew that if the police came, either he or his uncle would be the first suspect because she was found in his trailer. He felt bad for running away, and he felt bad for not being able to do anything to save Chrissy.
But dying from something like that, how on earth could he save someone from that?
He didn't know. He had no clue. But Eddie was focused on one thing, and one thing only.
Hiding away.
