The Lie

*Chp 1:- First Encounter

A regular day at work began with me clocking in and starting the day it was relatively quiet today maybe it was because I worked for the second shift.

I swiped through my phone waiting for a customer to walk in. A few mins later I heard the cafe door bell ring alarming me that a customer walked in.

I looked up to see a guy rushing in to save himself from the rain he walked in through the door and pulled off his trench coat to reveal his muscular arms he was dressed in a sleeveless tee with sweats on, doing barely anything but still looking as fine as hell, as he walked upto me I doubted whether I was in a normal cafe or maybe paris fashion week. Even though he had mask on his visuals did not faulter the Aura this guy had which mesmerized me. He walked up to the counter calm and collected and said something that I could not actually catch.

"Eh?"
"I said I'd like an iced americano please"

His voice was so deep and so calming.

"Okay sir, would you like anything else??"
"Uhmm nothing actually"
"Okay, but could I suggest you to maybe trying a decaf probably cause its cheaper and also too late in the night to be having an americano"

I saw a spark in his eyes and as soon as I said cheaper. That made me look at his eyes alittle more in detail to see his dark brown orbs. He pondered on the thought of his drink and said

"Yeah, I think I'll have the decaf"
"Uh? Yeah sure I can do that for you, how would you like to pay sir, cash or credit"
"Cash please"
"Okay, that would be 5,000₩"
"Yeah, here you go"
"Thank you, and here I will ring you up when your drink is ready"

I gave him his bill and ringer and he walked away, I stared at him walk away from the counter and take a seat near the window. He stared at the rain trickle down the glass window and I continued to stare at him when he suddenly turned his head towards me and I quickly looked away and quickly got back to work and made his drink.

After his drink was prepared I rung his order number up, and he walked upto me.

"Here you are sir, a decaf iced americano"
"Thank you, also I actually noticed awhile back you were staring at me, are you by any chance a stay"
"Uhmm, what's a stay, I'm soo sorry for staring it's just that uhmm, you are very handsome and I could not stop staring at you"

I bowed my head down because of the shame.

"Ohh it's okay actually"

With that he turned and started to put his coat back on, thats when I noticed he did not have an umbrella.

"Excuse me sir, you seem to not have an umbrella, here take this one"

I reached down below the counter to pull out my umbrella and gave it to him.

"No it's fine I can get wet, plus I have my coat anyways"
"No please take his as an apology for earlier"
"No it's actually fine it looks like it's yours"
"No please take it, it's my extra umbrella I kept today because I knew it was gonna rain, anyways I have another one right here"

I pulled out my second umbrella. He looked at me thinking whether he should take it or not.

"Here you go, I insist"
"Thank you, for this and the coffee"
"Do comeback sometime"

With that I saw the most handsome guy I've ever seen in my whole life, walk away from me. Out the door and around the corner of the shop.
