Chapter 12

SASKIA SPREAD her arms after stepping on the wooden pathway, embracing the soothing, warm breeze. Finally, she's back on the Island after an awesome weekend getaway.

Looking behind her, Saskia asked the man who made sure her weekend was memorable and enjoyable despite him having a sour mood oftentimes.

"You sure you'll carry my things? I can handle it myself, baby," aniya kay Lorch na dala ang bag niya na naglalaman ng mga gamit niya.

"I know you can but I want to carry it for you so go ahead." Ngumisi ito. "I'll be behind you and watch your sexy ass."

"I was thinking if I should make us lunch," she replied, fixing the sunglasses.

Lorch hummed, his arm moving to rest around her shoulder as they walk slowly to their car.

"I love you cooking for me but don't bother and sleep longer. We'll have lunch together in my office but we'll order," anito.

While she stood there, her lips breaking into a soft smile for Lorch.

Never had she thought that a man like him who exhibited a dangerous aura, had shown his violent side, and is very moody could be this gentle and caring. Sa dalawang araw na nilagi nila sa yate nito, nakita niyang maalaga ito.

Yes, he has his annoying mood shifts where he's a total jerk but there's the other side of him.

Yung side na mamahalin at gugustuhin ng kahit na sinong babae. He's sweet, now she knows. He's caring and has a love for fixing messy hair even though he's not a pro at it. Yet, Lorch tries his best which she really finds cute.

Gustong-gusto niya rin sa binata yung ugali nitong gagawin ang kahit na ano para lang sila magbati pagnaiinis siya. Kahit palpak iyon o nakakatawa— like his chocolate frape — the effort touches her emotionally.

There's just something about him that differentiates him from the men she dated. Yung mga ex niya, sinisisi pa siya pagnaiinis siya at minsan sinasabi pang childish siya. Para bang ano mang inis niya ay walang basehan iyon para sa mga lalaki kahit meron naman. Gusto ata ng mga gago kainin niya na lang lahat ng negatibong nakikita niya at nararamdaman niya at bawal siyang mainis.

But Lorch, he would always apologize if he did something wrong and make something simple to make it up to her. Hindi nito pinaramdam sa kanya na kaartehan lang niya pagnaiinis siya.
