Chapter 21: Sim Jake's Back Story

⚠️HHSHSUSHJS i don't even know where the story's going.
I barely have the motivation to do these and I feel like stopping this story

like bru its going out of the original plot, ehe ill try revising when its done.

But i'll try to think of a continuation.

Im not used to writing these so expect it to be shallow and bad. ^^

I spent the last 2 hours strolling around the forest when I saw a very shabby cabin just beneath the gigantic tree's branch.

I swept the bushes away, my eyes travelled around the area before taking another step.

The sun was setting, so I did have a bit of fright going in. But, blame my curiosity I guess.

I heard leaves crackling, or was it just me?

I stopped walking to know, what surprised me is it kept on going. An animal? Human?

I saw a glimpse of a child, that really shocked me.

I went near it, carefully ofcourse.

"Hello?"

I said

The kid swiftly turned his head facing me. A boy?
He stopped for a moment before running away.

"H-hey! Wait!"

I chased him

But I saw something even terrifying after going behind the cabin.

A deceased person...

I gasped and covered my mouth in shock before diverting my eyes to the little boy whose mouth is covered in blood.

This person's all dried up and pale..

First thing i thought was, a vampire..

My legs were shaking, I felt numb now that I'm seeing this, right in front of my eyes.

I tried calming down for a while before spotting a huge wound on that boy's leg.

I tried controlling my breathing before walking slowly towards that boy, ignoring the corpse right beside me.

He's a child, he can't hurt me right?

I've hear of vampires before but I didn't expect to see one.

He's hurt... I thought, referring to boy who can barely run.

He grinned at me showing his long fangs that was covered in blood.

H-he is..

I let out a deep breath before continuing.

Until he was finally in front of me...

"Where are your parents dear?"

"Ground" He repiled as he grinned and chuckled

Which made me scared ofcourse

"O-oh, you don't have anyone with you?"

"No"

"What's your name?"

"Sim Jaeyun, Jake, Jakey Jake, they call me Jake."

I giggled at his statement, It somewhow soften me.
Who knew that this blood-sucking child could be this sweet?

Without hesitation I pat his head and caressed his hair.

"I'm Soo-a"

"Mommy?"

"Mommy? N-no-"

"Mom"

I flinched when he suddenly gave me a hug.

"You look like my mommy"

"Your leg Jake, it's bleeding, come on let's go"

I kneeled down, my back facing him as I extended my arms backwards.

Am I really taking a vampire home?

It's fine, I can't leave a hurt and abandoned child alone.

"Come on"

"You don't want me?" He said

Huh?

"Because I'm a vampire. You don't want me?"

"No no-it's not like that, just-nothing"

"Come on now, I'll treat your wound" I said in a soft tone

He then went on my back, I stood up and started walking away.
