For some reason today, Shinobu was in a very bad mood. Maybe her experiment fail? Or she had a fight with someone? No one know.
But as she opened the living room in the mansion, she saw her older sister, Kanae, with her younger sister, Kanao. Shinobu immediately approached to Kanae, hugging her tightly from the back.
Kanae flinched at the sudden approached of Shinobu. Wondering what happened to her, it's not that often that she will be at this state.
"Anything happened?"
Asked Kanae, worried about her younger sister. However, Shinobu just slowly shake her head, not saying anything. Kanae sighed at Shinobu's reaction.
Not really know what to do, Kanae just let Shinobu sleep on her lap while patting her head softly as she continue to pay attention to Kanao that sat in-front of her.
"Is there anything you want to say or ask , Kanao-Chan?"
Kanao hesitate a bit, whether she should say it or not. But seeing Kanae smiled warmly at her, she decided to say it.
"I'm going to train with the Wind Hashira now. And after I done the training with Stone Hashira, can I receive a training from you?"
"I didn't participate in this Hashira training session."
Kanae immediately declined, not thinking much about it.
"Eh wh-why though?"
Asked Kanao, very shocked about what Kanae had just said. Kanae is also a Hashira, but why she said she didn't participate in this training session while other Hashira did?
"It's simple, she's lazy."
A voice that sounds like a person that just woke up replied. She slowly sitting up right, after a little nap on Kanae's lap.
"Wha—what of course not! Don't trust her Kanao-Chan, Shinobu-Chan tried to accuse me! I need to take care of people that may injured from the training here!"
Kanae speedy said, defense her self from Shinobu's accuse of her being lazy.
"You stay in mansion didn't even 10% of the time since the training session start."
Shinobu argued back, looking at her older sister that stay froze, not knowing what to argue back. Since what Shinobu said had been kinda true, she may stay at the mansion more than 10%, but not that much more like 20%.
"I just want to train with my mentor."
Said Kanao, looking at the floor sadly at the fact that Kanae declined her request. As Kanae heard what her little sister had said, her eyes soften.
"Then, I will train with you at Wind Hashira's place. You don't really need to train with him, you will train with me instead. I mean, I can't left my little cute sister with that mad man. Right?"
Kanae smiled, as if she never said anything bad about the Wind Hashira. Meanwhile, Kanao just nodded, aside from that Kanae will train her instead of Sanemi, she not really understand anything else.
"You can go to Wind Hashira's training place now, I will follow you later~"
As Kanae finished her sentence, Kanao leave to the Sanemi's training place.
"Say so Shinobu-Chan, what happened?"
Kanae looked straight at Shinobu's eyes.
"It's about the thing that you had asked me to do..."
She paused a little before continued in a serious tone.
"Tamayo-San and I already completed it. But we not really know that it will work against the upper moon or not."
Shinobu placed a small ball that inside of the ball contain with a lot of poison that can kill a normal demons if they just breath down the poisons.
"Even if it can't kill the upper moon demon right away, just slow the demon down or paralyzed it for a while, would be fine."
Said Kanae, picked up one of the ball, or should it be a poison bomb, to look at it closely.
"It still better than the idea of you sacrifice yourself right?"
Shinobu just nodded her head slightly.
"If everyone have this kind of poison with them, it would be able to prevent them from dying by the demons in the worst case scenario right?"
"If it go against upper moon demons, then it's 50/50. I'm not guaranteed that it will work. Even that it work on normal demons, but the upper moon ones are surely much stronger than those lower rank demons."
Kanae nodded as she understood what Shinobu meant.
"Well, all we can do is believe in your work. Shinobu-Chan you're the best person that can do this kind of poison. If you can't completely do it, then no one can. So please believe in it, cause I also believe that this poison bomb of your will help much in this upcoming fight with Kibutsuji and the upper moon demons."
Shinobu nodded confidently as she heard what her elder sister had said.
"Well, then I will be going out now. I can't leave Kanao-Chan waiting for me. Please watch the mansion, Shinobu-Chan~"
With that Kanae left the mansion, to go annoy Sa—- to train Kanao.
"Hai hai."
Shinobu replied, not caring much, it's always her who watch over the mansion anyway.
