XVIII: Happily

*NAYEON's POV*

I'm such an idiot, how can I wish something that is too good to be true?! She's her first love, I'm no one compare to her

"Jeong.."

"Nabong.." I sat beside her and when she saw me, she immediately hugs me

"What happened?"

"I hurted her, she's hurt because of me"

"What happened? I thought you guys are finally together? Did something go wrong?"

"Everything was doing great but when we went home.. Jieun was suddenly there. I thought she was cheating but she told me she didn't knew she was there. It's hard for me to trust her especially Jieun is still in her life"

"I reacted harshly and hurted her feelings.. what should I do Jeongyeon?"

*JEONGYEON's POV*

Why would you ask me that Nayeon?

"What does your heart say?" I asked

"My heart says that I should stop being a bitch and apologize to her"

"Then follow your heart"

Fuck, this is more painful than I thought. But I should let go of you Nayeon, I know you deserve the whole world and all the love, you deserve someone that will make you happy and that's not me but Y/n

I'm not letting go because of the guilt I have on Y/n but it's because this is the rational decision. If she loves her, there's nothing more that I can do, I just hope the two of you will be finally together and nothing will happen but happiness

Y/n is eating her lunch at the nearby café at her office, She's busy eating donuts and her hot coffee as she read a book

Meanwhile Somi who just finished ordering happen to see her, she decided to go to her and seat at the vacant table in front of her

"Hey loser" Somi said and Y/n looks up

"Somi, hi" Y/n puts down the book

"How are you holding up?"

"Did Winter or Yuna told you?" She scoffs

"Well I stop by at your studio and you're not there but Winter, are you even working? All you do whenever you go there is to sign papers and after that you'll leave"

"Isn't that supposed to be the whole point? I've got nothing to do since Mr Jung and Winter do all the work of me and I trust them"

"Whatever. So, are you really not gonna get her back?"

"Not sure, it sucks you know? Who would've thought I'll come to this point, it was more better when I don't have any labels or there's no woman that I romantically like. Life's easier that time"

"But it's nothing compared to the happiness you have when you're with her"

"Touché" Y/n chuckled

"So what's your plan?"

"None at this moment. News flash, Winter suggested me to go back on my old ways so that I would stop on acting weird" she said and Somi rolled her eyes

"Nah, you won't do good because you'll be distracted!" Somi shooks her head

"I have my Christmas gift for you, use it as your last chance. I'll let you have any custom jewelry made, just one then give it to her" Somi said

"For real?! You'll let me have it for free?!"
