- I hope this wasn't a bad idea - Rosé said while pacing around in her living room

- Relax Rosie, they're our friends - Jennie, who was sitting down with her legs crossed and a relaxed expression painting her face, said

- Well, don't forget that it was our friend who wanted to hand you over to the scientists - she mockingly exclaimed

Lisa and Jisoo had invited the couple to get dinner with them at a really nice restaurant, however Jennie reminded Rosé that if they were going to talk about her powers, it would be better to do it in a private place, such as one of their houses. Due to that, Rosé offered her house since her mother would have dinner and would sleep at Tom's:

- You need to let that go

- How can I let it go, Jen? I know I messaged her, and I'm willing to forgive, but I'm not willing to forget

- I'm not saying you should - the brunette rested her right arm on the couch - I just think you should take a deep breath and let your girlfriend take care of you, princess. Have I told you how gorgeous you look with those shorts?

Rosé furrowed her eyebrows and sighed. Was her girlfriend really trying to compliment her while she was in pure distress? She took a seat next to her and crossed her arm, eyeing the floor in an attempt to look angry:

- Really? - the young adult bit her lip - Come on baby, we need to relax, we had a 5 hour flight

- You just don't seem to understand what I'm trying to say - the blonde huffed and Jennie sighed. The older scooted closer and carefully rested her hand on her leg

- Listen, I understand what you are saying - Rosé eyed her with disdain - I do! Don't you think I was angry too when you told me what she had said? But I do think she regrets it, and you can't blame her forever. People make mistakes and they learn from them, how else could they grow as human beings?

Chaeyoung stopped thinking for a few seconds, Jennie's words echoing in her mind. Not only it made perfect sense for that situation, but it also fitted with her family and herself. Why does she hold so much grudge for things that happened so long ago? She doesn't need to forgive everything, but why do people stop talking to each other for a simple mistake, but when it comes to good actions, a "thank you" is enough?

- Babe? - the brunette shook her slightly - Still in there?

- Uh, yeah yeah - she nodded and eyed Jennie - I just... love you

Jennie started smilling like a fool, immediatly feeling a thousand butterflies in her stomach:

- I was not expecting that one, but I love you too

- No, but really - she turned to face her and grabbed her hands, caressing the skin with her thumbs - Since you've appeared in my life, you've made me see things clearer. I was so afraid of what life had in store for me and I wasn't confident in myself to move forward with my dream. However, you appeared and brought out the best parts of me, and I can never thank you enough for that

The brunette ran her hand along her cheek and stopped at her lip, running her thumb along it. The younger dropped her hands on her lap and leaned into her:

- It was because of you that I got to spend Christmas with my family - she bit her thumb - Because of you, I got to know so much

- Yeah? - Jennie's eyes started to slightly change to an orange color, something that encouraged Rosé to continue - Like what, baby?

- Like, the existence of super powers - the older nodded and slid down her hand, stopping at the blonde's neck. With that slight grip, Chaeyoung was starting to forget what she wanted to say - Like... how to confront my problems and anxieties
