1.) What is your name and age? (if you are comfortable telling us)
•Ankita Ghosh is my name and 21 is my age.
2.) How did you first land on wattpad?
•I got addicted to a book on Dreame but it was locked there I was trying to read it for free somewhere else and that's how from goggle I found wattpad and joined it.
3.) What made you want to start writing? What was your inspiration?
•I just wanted to do time pass because I had read so many books I had many ideas popping in my mind. Inspiration I don't know but yeah I wanted to try my hand at this field.
4.) From where do you get the ideas of your books?
•Anything and everything. I get ideas from my surroundings people's behaviour around me. Some songs videos etc.
5.) Which genre book are you currently writing? And what are the other genres that you wish to explore in future?
•I'm writting fantasy dark romance and dark romance currently I will try something different in future for sure but not now.
6.) What will you advise the aspiring, new writers?
•For new aspiring writers I will say that don't listen to what others say may it your readers or someone else don't get influenced by them or change your plot. Stick with the original plan always that's the key and try to write with feel when you will feel what you wrote your readers will feel it as well. That's where your success is making others feel.
7.) Which 5 books of Wattpad authors, do you love the most?
• There are many books but still i will short list a few
8.) Do you pre-plan the things that you write or it comes to you as you write the story?
•I plan the base that I need and the theme rest comes while writing.
9.) What motivated you to start writing?
•Basically nothing motivated me to write before but now I enjoy writting so my happiness and my readers happiness motivate me.
10.) What are the challenges that you face while writing?
•Writer's block is I guess every writers problem where you struggle with what to write next it's my biggest difficulty.
11.) How do you feel and what do you do when readers criticize you or your work?
•Readers can criticize the plot line, characters and scenes but not the writer. It's fine when they criticize other things i appreciate it and take it positively but i dont appreciate it when they start criticizing writer in a personal way. Criticism and abuse both are different people should know the difference between them before commenting.
12.) Do you write secretly? Or does your family know? If yes, then how do they feel about it?
•My family knows that I write and first they don't believe that I can write and even if they believe they care less about it. Because for them it's just a time waste to be precise.
13.) Wanna ask or say anything to your readers?
•I want to tell them that When I write something I know what I'm writing if you're not able to understand beforehand it's fine you're not supposed to guess but the read the book I read so yes be calm and enjoy the ride with popcorn because if I'm writting it won't be any less then a crazy roller coaster ride my readers know that we'll don't you?
And the author has her own life and other priorities as well wattpad isn't her life its just a part of her life so yeah be supportive and patient for updates.
