Author's POV

The room was in chaos as everyone tried to digest the information given to them, Wei Wuxian had committed suicide.

 He killed himself in one of the most painful ways possible.

He had been crushed to a powder to the point where there wasn't even a corpse left.

He felt every second of his death.

He was in pain the entire time.

He smiled as he died.

He thought he deserved it.

He paid for sins he never committed.

What had they done???

They had made an innocent man suffer because of their ignorance and greed, the man who had saved them all and asked for nothing in return. And when he was given another chance at life they still didn't leave him alone, instead of exposing him to such horrors that not even the harshest of criminals should face.

The rest of the world did not know his story, they had to fix it and clear his name. There was so much left to do now that the truth had been revealed, biggest of all to bring him back and atone for their sins.

The Jiangs were in a frenzy, they had to make things right, Wei Wuxian deserved an apology and so much more but they would do their best to build the broken bridges between them, 

When had things gone so wrong? 

Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli wanted nothing but to go back to when they were the trio again, laughing and joking around without any care in the world, to back and spoil their brother and show him he is loved. They had failed him horribly and yet he still loved them so much to the point where he sacrificed himself, torn himself apart for them.

They knew they didn't deserve him but they had to try, they needed him in their lives, his bright laugh, his cheerful smile, his corny jokes, his carefree nature lifting the mood up easily. Lotus pier had felt so empty when he left, they had to bring him back and fix their mistakes, to right their wrongs,

Jiang Fengmian was growing in his guilt and sin, he and his wife had now been given a second chance, they had to fix it, they were going to make things right with their children. All three of them deserved better, so much better. They had so much to make up for, especially to their poor A-Ying.

They had wronged him so badly, they had to apologize and make up for their neglect, they had to bring back their sun and shower him with the love he had always deserved but was never given.

One look at his wife told him she was thinking the same thing, they both nodded at each other with determination, once A-Ying was back they would have a good talk with the idiot to make sure he never sacrifices himself ever again, a sharp pang of guilt runs through them as they remember that they were the main cause of that habit.

Lan Wangji was on the verge of tears again as he saw the last moments of his beloved who had misunderstood and wronged so badly, Wei Ying was his soulmate and yet Lan Wangji had failed him horribly. He had to make up for what he did, god he even cut off his beloved's hair that day.
