Y/n's pov
"How was I suppose to know he was right around the corner", I huffed. My arms were wrapped tightly around Spiderwoman's neck. "Why do even chameleon bad guys exist", I questioned. She landed on top of a building edge. Her arm unwrapped from around me letting me stand back on leveled ground.
"You be surprise how weird these guys are", she chuckled. "You could literally use your brain to make things and sell it for big bucks but no instead you create a chameleon suit that turns invisible and rob people", I scoffed. "...Actually that's not too bad of an idea", I commented turning around to face her. " I could even do it", I joked.
"I won't say not to", she said getting out of her spider squatting position to sit down on the edge facing me. Her leg was perched up letting her rest her right arm on top of her knee. Her left hand sat down against the edge she was sitting on, her back facing the many city buildings. The air was warm, the comfortable warm that makes you want to stay outside.
"So if I decided to become a robber are you going to be the one always catching me", I questioned. "It has to be me", she answered lowering her leg back onto the ground. "Possessive much", I hummed. "I don't see it like that. I'll have to study you and understand your villainous ways", she explained getting up and walking towards me. "Study me", I chuckled dryly. "That's right", she replied now standing in front of me. She was so close now.
"Hm I don't think webs would look good on me", I joked. "I beg to differ", she replied. "I think you'll look amazing in them", she chuckled. I stared into her big white bug eyes, yes bug eyes. I quickly licked my lips moisturizing them before speaking.
"I uh I'm sorry you have to keep saving me", I said glancing at the ground the back at her. "You must get tired of having too", I giggled. "Of saving you", she questioned tilting her head. "Never, I like carrying you", she added causing me to let out a chuckle.
"Never thought I hear a vigilante tell me that", I chuckled looking away from her again. A hand was placed against my cheek, the texture of her suit was soft and thin. She moved my head back in place making her look at. Her thumb rubbed at cheek.
"Trust me there's other things I want to say to you", she confessed. I really wish I could see their eyes, not he other hand I'm glad I can't. I would come undone if I did.
"Oh yeah..", I smiled leaning into her touch. "Like what", I asked gripping the back of her hand that was against my face and getting closer to her. "..Lots of things", she answered. "Why not tell me now", I suggested. She just let out a hum, her thumb still rubbing my skin gently.
"Sadly I have to go", she said moving her hand away from my face making me let go of her and taking a step back.
"I heard someone a few blocks away", she informed about to jump over the edge. "Ah ah ah wait", I quickly shout pointing a finger at her causing her to freeze mid step. I rushed over towards the huge double doors that was the only exit off this building. I grabbed the door knob and twist it. I pushed it forward opening the door. I released the handle and turned around then began walking towards Spiderwoman who was waiting.
"Okay you can go now"
"...Were you stuck on top of buildings all those times I left you here", she questioned. "Yeahhhh", I answered nodding my head. She stared at me for a couple of second before hunching over, giggles began seeping out of her mask as she tried holding her laughter in. Failing to she stood back up and began laughing her ass off.
"I could've died up here", I huffed crossing my arms. She was taking deep breaths in and out trying to stop herself from laughing. "I'm sure you can handle yourself", she sighed finally able to form her words. I swear it was like deja vu hit me.
"Stay safe!", she exclaimed then jumped over the edge. I rushed over towards the edge once again to watch her swing away. I quickly pulled my phone out from my pocket. I went to my recents and clicked Carley's name then pressed my phone up against my ear. After about two or three rings she picked up.
"Carley speakinggggg!", Carley sung. "Girl you won't believe what happened", I replied. "What did she say now", she asked. "So she saved me right. So we were joking around and I was like "You have to be tired of saving me all the time" and she was like "Of you? Never" then I was like "I never thought a vigilante would be telling me this"", I explained. "Uh hun what did she say", Carley questioned. "She said. "Trust me there's other things I want to say to you" and you know I was blushing and stuff so I said "Oh yeah like what" and she said "lot of things"", I continued. "Oh and she were super close to each other and she was holding my cheek...the one on my face", I added.
It was quiet for a minute on Carley's end. I moved my phone away from ear to make sure I didn't hang up on her. The call was still going so I put my phone back to my ear again.
