hey. it hasn't been a while. i'm still here. i'm still publishing chapters in a new book. i'm not going anywhere.

i think the news has been dropped already. if you haven't read this 2-part announcement i put out, here's pictures of it (it's optional. you don't have to read it because i made this a/n to explain myself in short).

this is my decision and please know this type of creative decision will be different for other authors so please (and i continue to emphasize this) respect other authors' decisions and respect the grieving process

i will continue to use c!technoblade in honor of the content creator himself, the impact he's had on the newer generation of mcyt fans, and as an ode to his content versatility.

i personally feel like being able to honor his name in writing is something i am comfortable with doing and will continue to respect his boundaries.

i'd also like to clarify that in my next books, i'm beginning to branch away from yandere content simply because i feel like i should have versatility in my writing and that using yandere themes doesn't have to show that versatility, but i do think it was a good start in my creative process. additionally, i feel like putting dsmp characters outside of yandere content is way easier and more comfortable in terms of following boundaries.

i completely understand people's criticisms and reactions to the yandere genre of writing which is why i was actually hesitant to publish gardener with my mindset at the time and the fact that i thought (despite knowing my writing is so different in that time period compared to back then when i wrote a cheesy attack on titan fanfic) that i would be judged, and it would be weird to put out specifically a yandere fanfic using pre-made characters and especially saying that's the first trilogy in my dsmp writing journey. it does involve very toxic and heavy trigger warnings but nevertheless, some people like to read it for the plot and some don't. that's perfectly fine.

in the end, im still happy to use wattpad as a platform of creativity regardless of the attention i receive. i'm just glad to write the things i wanna write and to interact with others alike.

just know, i am here anytime for anyone who needs to talk to someone. please take care. mourn as much as you need. please be respectful and stay safe.
