"Text Lio and tell him to get everyone out of the house" Annie says
We're waiting on our order. It took 40 minutes to find a taco place that was open at this time because my 5 ft tall girl is scary when she's hungry.
"Alright" I say sending him a quick text and getting an okay
"Guess what" she says looking down at her phone
"Hmm" I answer with my head on the table
"Jenni and Marcus broke up" She says making my head pop up
"I told your ass" I say laughing
Marcus is a dick who likes to pretend he doesn't suck ass on the field.
"They looked so happy" she says shaking her head with a small smile
"Nah, I saw him making out with some chick by his locker" I say making her jaw drop, uh oh.
"Halston Parker, now how did you go on about knowing this information" she says swatting my arm
I rub the spot "well nobody asked me" I reason with a pout.
She rolls her eyes at me but gets in a better mood when she sees her tacos.
We eat and talk about our trip back home for thanksgiving, the smile on her face making it evident she's excited to see her family.
She's gorgeous.
We finish up and order some tacos for the others.
"I'll race you to the car" I say
"1 2 GO" she says not giving me a chance to breathe
Of course she wins "cheater beater pumpkin eater" I say when I get to the car
I unlock it and put the food inside before locking her in by putting my hands on either side of her head, while she looks at me with an admiring smile.
"I never said when to go" she says shaking her head
"Sly thing you are" I say before kissing her like it was our last
We pull apart to catch our breaths "I love you sweetheart" I whisper for her ears only
"Mm I love you too" she hums
I could stay like this forever, with her.
40 minutes later
"Food" I yell but nobody comes down
"They're asleep" Annie whispers
We head upstairs and find them all piled in Lio's room. Ares is hanging off the edge of the bed, Scar is under him, Lio's splattered all over the bed with Julie on top of not only him, but Ares and Scar too.
