Pb Pov

I walk the way that the human boy walked, turning the corner to meet an empty alley and darkness. Stunned I look around to find so such boy that Peppermint Butler spoke to just moments ago

"Yo PB you good girl?" Marci asks while she floats around the corner as well, looking around before seeing me and floating towards me. I faced her and thought about the boy I bumped into

"Yeah, did you see that boy who Peppermint was talking to? I had a few questions since Peppermint said he was new to this kingdom and saying that means that he is new to the Land of OoO in total." I said as Marci rubbed her chin in thought.

"No, I couldn't say that I did see him sorry Pb" Marci finally says after a few seconds of thought and shrugs.

"Ah I see hopefully I could see him, and we could both ask some questions, by that I mean me since you showed little interest" 

"wow~ a guy stuck on ya mind Pb?~ I'm so jealous I could kill him once i see him!" Marci jokes while turning into her vampire form for a split second, I roll my eyes and poke her nose and she giggles and transforms back into her human like appearance

"you said finn earlier... is that why you wanted to talk to that human Pb?" marci asked while tilting her head in curiosity. I laugh softly and smile

"haha yeah i guess i wanted to ask him if he knew us. but clearly since he didn't even bat an eye which means he doesn't know us." i say softly as Marci hugs me, I hug her back as we stay in silence for a second

"I know you miss him, and I miss him too... but it's been over 1000 years Pb he would hate seeing us crying over that goofball" Marci says softly while I laugh and wipe a tear away, she's right I can't hold onto him, and I need to move on. I have Marceline by my side this whole time anyway

"you're right Marci lets go back to my lab we have a very busy day, and we are already behind schedule" I stress as we walk off back to my Lab

As Marceline and Princess Bubblegum walked off a boy is seen sitting above a building while petting his cat which the ladder was nibbling on a candy cane. the boy swiftly took it away much to the cats anger as it hisses and bites the boys finger.

"Ow! you know these are bad for you so stop eating them!" he complain/yells while the cat hisses at him and curls up into a ball and goes to sleep as the boy chuckles softly and pets the cat softly and slowly

"Man, this place is massive... I wonder how much I can find here seems fun!" they boy says excitingly which he giggles and laughs to himself and lays back, his legs hanging off the side of the building he sits atop of and slowly closes his eyes drifting off to sleep. However, before he can a voice rings out and yells at him

"DONT JUMP!!" a scream calls out which causes the boy to jolt up and look around looking for the source of the voice, as he jumped to he accidentally knocks the cat off of his lap and next to him which pissed the ladder off and the cat hissed at the boy before he picks the cat up and looks over the edge of the building. he sees a rather... banana like creature that had a spear

"Wha-" the boy asks tiredly before the banana yells again which drew more bananas and candy people's attention

"DONT JUMP ITS NOT WORTH IT" the banana yells as other candy creatures join in on the yelling, the boy now panicked by the situation shrinks back and out of the line of sight of the people below. Sighing softly, he looks down and pets the cat and apologizes for the sudden wake up call.

"Sorry about that kitty I'll get to a quieter place for us to sleep" the boy says softly before jumping from building to building and finally over the wall that sheltered this rather Candy Kingdom

a few minutes pass by and the boy jumps far enough to find himself standing at the base of a rather large tree its roots wide as its trunk extends above the heavens... well just the clouds

"Wow... what a tree to see today, i guess around here candy is people and trees just go to the stars" the boy wonders as he strains his neck trying to find the top of said tree the cat meows and jumps out of the boys' arms

"Ah seems like you finally have the energy to move for yourself for once ya lazy thing" Y/n chuckles as the cat hisses and he simply chuckles at the scene before him

"Yeah, yeah whatever you say" Y/n chuckles before looking up at the tree again taken back by the mere height of the tree. stretching out his legs and lower body he centers his body, the floor cracks and gives way as it seems like he is charging up something, and before anything else could happen. He jumped a great height up this majestic tree. Will he find anything? who knows that's for the future or his drive to find something to figure out
