They were basically going on a field trip, and their first stop was the Mayfield residence. "Eddie, you should probably sit down on the floor now so that nobody can see you, that is the last thing that we need right now," Adira muttered out as they drove into the trailer park.

"Well that's lovely," Eddie replied sarcastically before unplugging his seatbelt and then cramming himself down onto the floor behind Adira's chair. Eddie couldn't help but shrug his shoulders slightly, it wasn't actually that bad on the floor, the car was extremely clean, the seat was pretty far forward since Adira was so short, and the coolness from the leather felt nice.

Dustin took off his jumper and placed it over Eddie's head in attempt to hide the boy even better, "c'mon man, that's a little extra don't you think?" Eddie asked him in annoyance as he pulled the jumper off his head and then shoved it back into Dustins lap. He had the perfect amount of space on the floor as he no longer had to share the three back seats with another three people, but the jumper was only going to take a majority of that space away, not to mention that it would mess up his hair which he had actually brushed this morning in attempt to woo Adira Harrington

"Do you want to be caught?" Dustin snapped back, looking over at Eddie with a sharp glare as he threw the jumper back over his head, a sarcastic smirk on his face as Eddie glared back up at him, "there arent too many people around here with your mop of hair, so maybe you should keep it hidden when you are the most wanted person in Hawkins."

"Hey, don't diss the hair Henderson, its amazing," Adira said with a small grin as she looked up at the boy through the rear-view mirror. She had a thing for long curly hair on guys, which was rather obvious

"Amazing?" Steve said with a small scoff as he ran his fingers through his own hair, a proud look on his face as he looked at his reflection, "if you wanna see amazing hair, all you gotta do is look over here at this masterpiece," Steve said

Adira let out a small snort of laughter, "Alright King Steve," Adira said in amusement. Steve turned to look at her with his jaw dropped, he put his hand to his heart in feign hurt.

"Don't start with those lies of you hating my hair again Adira, how could someone hate all of this perfection?" Steve asked her with a raised eyebrows and his fingers pointing up to his mound of hair

"Sorry dude, long curly hair is just the way to go," Adira said with a shrug. Dustin could see Eddie smirking widely in the back seat and reached his fist down, the two boys did a silent little victory fist pump.

"You hear that Steve? Your hair just isn't that great," Dustin said with a cheeky grin as he looked at his best friend. Steve was quick to turn around in his seat and point his finger at the kid in the middle of the back seat, a scowl on his face

"My hair is amazing Dustin. Your hair looks like a bloody b-" Steve started but Adira was quick to cut him off. She knew that this was a conversation that could go on for hours, and personally, she didn't want to have to sit there and listen to it.

"Now now boys, behave yourselves," Adira told them with a small sigh before looking at Maxine, "do you need me to go in there with you Maxie?" she asked her in a gentle tone, she already knew that Maxine would more than likely want to go in there and talk to her mother herself, but she figured it was still a good idea to ask her just incase Max did want her to go in there with her

"No, I'll be fine, ill just be in and out, with any luck she wont be there and I can just leave the letter inside on the bench and then come straight back out," Maxine said with a small nod before reaching for the door and pulling the handle, pushing the door open

"Alright Mayfield, this better be nice and quick okay?" Steve instructed her, not wanting to be sitting out the front of the trailer for too long, especially with Eddie Munson in the back who was currently being hunted down by the cops and a group of teenagers for the murder of Chrissy and Fred.
