Mrs. MEHTA : what do you mean?
KRITIKA : Mom I don’t want to get married this month…
Mr. MEHTA : why princess? What happened?
KRITIKA : we have decided that we will not get married on the same date…
RISHI : why? And when did you decide all this? Why didn’t you say anything to me?
KRITIKA : because we just finalized our decision on our way home… Now I am telling na… what’s the problem? You are all behaving like I am canceling my marriage…
KARAN : Oh this is your important thing you wanted to discuss….Kriti, marriage is not a
joke ok ? … and Anu, I know Kiti is your best friend but that doesn’t mean you
will support all her nonsense…
ANISHA : what nonsense? I also think it is a good idea…
Mrs. KAPOOR : ok ok girls listen….I didn’t
understand one thing… when we had decided your marriage date separately
then you opposed… you said that you wanted to married on the same date…when now
everything is almost done….then suddenly what happened ... why do you guys
don’t want to get married on the same date ?
KRITIKA : because aunty we think it will not be much fun if our marriage happens on the
same day…
Mrs AHUJA : What? Fun?
KRITIKA : yeah… look if we get married on the same day then I will not able to enjoy
her marriage nor will she but If we do
this separately then we both can enjoy
each other’s marriage… and for me, it will be double fun as it will be my
brother and best friend wedding ….. Please please please I want to enjoy their
marriage...
Mr Kapoor and Mr. Mehta started Smiling…
Mrs MEHTA : really Kartik? You are smiling? Even Animesh bhaisahab you are also smiling?? I didn’t find anything funny? Why are you smiling… Do you think this is funny?
Mr. MEHTA : ohh honey we are smiling seeing them… look they are going to get married but still they don’t even mature enough … I don’t know what will they do after married ( chuckled)
Mrs. MEHTA : I can’t find anything funny about it…
RISHI : Kritika , don’t you think you should discuss it with me first?
KRITIKA : what there to discuss about? And I am saying it na…
ANISHA : Rishi, don’t worry if you want to marry this month then you and Kritika get
married on that date… I and Karan will fix another date … right Karan?
Before Karan could speak anything Kritika replied...
KRITIKA : No you guys will get married first.
ANISHA : It’s ok…. we still haven’t decided that so when Rishi isn’t very happy about
this then you guys get married first…
KRITIKA : Aree noo yaar … if I get married first then you can attend my marriage as my
best friend only….but if you married first then you will be my sister-in-law …
just think it will be more fun…
ANISHA : yeah you are right… it will be more fun (said excitedly) … but Rishi...
KRITIKA : Rishi, don’t make a fuss about this simple matter… It is not like I am cancelling my marriage … I said just to postpone this… it is not a very big deal…
KARAN : Anisha you will stay away from this immature sister of mine… she has no sense…

understand… how can all of you entertain her nonsense? … One day she came and
demanded that she wanted to married on the same date as Anisha and Karan because it would be so much fun, hashtag friendship goals and blah…blah…blah… but today suddenly she thinks
it will be more fun if they get married on separate date…now she is demanding
that… is marriage is a joke??
Kritika rolled her eyes hearing her bhabi's ( sister-in-law) words.
PAYEL : Don’t roll your eyes…
KABIR : Princess, don't do this… she is your Bhabi… and Payel, you don’t get angry… she
is still immature…
PAYEL : Immature??? Kabir, she is 25 years old not 5 years old… and you Anisha, I
thought you have some sense but no I was wrong you are just like her…of course
that’s why you both are best friends…..
KABIR : Payel… you’re overreacting… it is just a wish of her… there is nothing wrong…
Mrs. MEHTA : No… Payel is absolutely right… She is 25 years old… not 5 years… she should
have some sense…we will not accept this demand…
KRITIKA : PaaaPaa …
Mr. MEHTA : Honey… marriage isn’t happening every day… it is her wish then ok na… there is no problem to arrange that…
KABIR : yes mom.
Mrs. MEHTA : it is not about can we arrange that or not… we have to stop agreeing with her demands… it is too much…
PAYEL : Papaji , Kabir …I know you guys love her very much but that doesn’t mean you
have to heed her every wish ….yesterday she had one wish…today she has another
wish… and tomorrow she will have another wish ….. She have to understand what
she can demand and what she cannot….you guys have to stop spoiling her….
KRITIKA : what is your Problem , bhabi??
Mrs AHUJA : Monika… I think your daughter-in-law is right… she should have behaved maturely….. Even the media knows about this … it will be problematic if we
change the date now…
KRITIKA : There is nothing problematic… one marriage is happening na…we will say another
marriage is postponed for some days… that’s it…
Mrs. AHUJA : Monika… I think we should leave now… you should talk with Kritika and discuss
about this matter…
KRITIKA : There is nothing to discuss…
Mrs MEHTA : yes there is…
KRITIKA : No there is nothing to discuss and I will not marry in this month, our marriage
will happen on separate dates….and Anisha and Karan bhai's marriage will happen
first… that’s it’s… there is nothing to discuss…
KRITIKA : Anisha… you come with me…
Said this Kritika dragged Anisha upstairs to her ( Kritika) own room.
