You walked Billy out to his car when dinner was over, Eddie was hesitant to let you go alone but you managed to get him to stay inside helping your mom clean up

"The hell is your problem Billy?"
You ask walking behind him
"I...don't know what you mean
y/l/n"
He said turning around walking backwards with that annoying smirk across his face
"You know exactly what I mean, stop trying to get bashed up again,I won't step in this time"
You say sternly
"We both know that's a lie"
He said slipping a cigarette in his mouth and lighting it

"You care too much"
He said blowing out the smoke
You narrowed your eyes
"You really do think big of yourself, don't you?"
You crossed your arms, He kept staring at you
"Are you done staring?"
You ask with an annoyed tone
"Just trying to work you out, you've always been difficult to understand I suppose, different from others"
He replies taking another puff.
 
"And it makes you even more interesting, to me."
He exhales smoke and looks at your lips then your eyes.
"It's because I haven't fallen at your feet, which is what you've been used to for so long,You keep trying hard for something that's not going to happen"
You add shaking your head at the ground
"I think you're confused on what you want,y/n."
He says looking over at your house,you look over and see Eddie now sitting on the porch steps smoking while keeping a watch,obviously he couldn't stay inside while Hargrove was alone with you.

"What's that ment to mean?"
You snap looking back at him
"I think you know what it means,and that also shows you're in denial, scared,to the point you can't even be official with Munson-" 
You cut him off
"You know nothing...! about me Billy, especially how I feel" 
You say trying not to raise your voice, Billy gets into his car and starts it
"It's the truth. If you're scared then why keep doing it. Maybe you need someone to take your mind away from it.From him..." 
You step away so he can drive off,
"...Tell Max I said hi"
not knowing what else to reply back with, he pulls out of your  driveway, looking at you again  before driving off.
