I am getting ready…..there are so many rituals in a Hindu marriage…my god… I am so tired….but I am enjoying it a lot also …..
Now the make-up artist is making my hair… I have to get ready a little fast as
the Subh muhurat ( auspicious time) is at 05:30 pm… and it is now already 04:15 pm.
KRITIKA : Hurry up didi ( sister)… I am late...
Make-up Artist : yes yes ma’am almost done. Yeah done...wow ma’am you are looking very beautiful.
KRITIKA : hmmm really… this red lehenga has suited me very well….Thank you didi… you did
a great job. I liked the make-up.
Make-up Artist : you’re welcome ma’am. I think today you will get more attention than
the bride.
KRITIKA : o no no no… I don’t want any attention… today is my best friend's special day… she should get all the attention.
What??? Don’t say you thought today is my marriage day….. No no no ….Today is the
marriage of my brother and my best friend…as we had demanded.
This was bound to happen…when I wish for something and my father and brother will not
fulfil it! that will never happen.
Mrs. Ahuja ….yeah yeah my future mother-in-law , my future father-in-law, Mr. Ahuja , my mother and of course my bhabhi… they didn’t want to agree but at last my father
made them agree… my papa is the best.
At first, Rishi was also angry…I really didn’t understand what was their problem…..but at
last he also agreed. No one can be angry with me for a long time….of course who
wants to be angry at such a lovely person…hehehe
Third Person’s POV
Mrs MEHTA : Kriti… hurry up … we are lat….. Ohh wow….. You look very beautiful honey ( said
as she entered the room)
Kritika just smiled sweetly .
When they reached at the entrance of their house where everyone was waiting for them…
Mr. MEHTA : Wow… princess you are looking stunning… ( he kissed on Kritika's forehead) …
KARAN : hmm really you are looking very beautiful sis.
KRITIKA : I looks always beautiful not like you.
KARAN : of course when You put on so much makeup then how can you not look beautiful…
KRITIKA : YOU –
KABIR : ok ok… that’s enough….don’t start fighting….. My both siblings are very beautiful…
and today they are looking more beautiful…ok? Karan, do You want to reach before
the muhuurat or not? So don’t waste time here.… now shall we go?
Mrs. MEHTA : yes….yes… or we will be very late… let’s go.
They all left for the hotel where the marriage will be happen… It was not very far away from their house.
