                                 Lani's POV

Me and Monét got to my house and went straight into my room.

"What you tryna wear?"

"I don't wanna have too much going on, but I also want it to be..."

"You wanna look good?"

"Yeah."

"That's all you had to say. What are you feeling?"

"What you mean?"

"Like, you wanna be daddy and dress like a lil stud, or you wanna be pretty and dress like a bad bitch?"

"I'm dead. 'Dress like a lil stud' get the fuck on." I started laughing.

"Girl, I'm tryna help you out."

"I know, I'm playin. That don't sound too bad though."

"What you got then?"

"You think a suit is doing too much?"

"Hold up, where are you guys even going, first of all?"

"You heard about that restaurant that just opened up like, three weeks ago?"

"Yeah?"

"Imma take her there, you gotta dress nice though."

"So what you gon wear?"

"A suit, I guess."

"Okay, imma start looking for you."

"Okay, Imma text y/n/n."

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and started to text her.

                                   Y/N's POV

Kehlani: just wear a dress, put some comfortable shoes on and wait for me. let me know when you're ready.

Y/N: okay, i will. see you in a little bit.

She told me that we're going somewhere fancy, but me being me, I was already planning on dressing up. I gotta impress her somehow.

I had just gotten out of the shower and was finding something to put on.

"Maybe this would be cute." I unhooked a brown silk dress from my closet and started looking at it.

"Yeah, this is it." I laid it down on my bed and started getting ready.

I did my makeup and was finally ready to put the dress on.

I did and then I walked to the mirror to go and look at myself.

"This dress is giving me body, let me show V." I grabbed my phone, took a picture, and sent it to Victoria.

                                 Lani's POV

"Y/n/n texted me."

"Saying?"

"Oouuu."

"What?"

"She ain't say nothing, she showed me what she's wearing, she looks good, Lani."

"Let me see."

"Back up, you can see her when you get her."

"I just wanna see if we'll compliment each other."

"I can tell you, back up."

I walked backwards and kept looking at Victoria to see if I was far enough to where she could see the both of us.
