Steve reached his hand through the broken glass of the door and felt around for a few moments before his hand finally latched onto the door handle, the cool wooden handle sent goosebumps over his skin as his palm wrapped around it.

Adira was watching the scene in front of her in concern, worried that Steve might accidently get cut on the glass when he went to pull his arm out and away from the sharp shards of old glass, "Careful Steve, don't cut yourself on the glass," Adira muttered to her brother in worry. Steve turned the handle and pushed the door open, withdrawing his arm from the window carefully. The door squeaked as Steve pushed it open, revealing the inside of the house which was slightly hard to see due to how dark it was inside.

Steve was the first one to walk in, followed by Adira and Robin and then Nancy and the others. Steve let out a whistle as he looked at the house around him. The paint was peeling, there was dust everywhere, and the roof and floors were all falling apart. The teens who actually came prepared all pulled out their flashlights and turned them on before beginning to look around the room.

"If a feel a spider or roach touch me I swear to god I'm gonna be outta here faster than Fangio," Adira muttered out as she looked at the cobwebs in disgust, crossing her arms over her chest and moving closer to Eddie who was looking around the house in interest

Lucas walked over to a lamp at the side of the room and tried to turn it on but nothing happened. "There has been no power here for years Lucas, this place is completely abandoned besides all the rats and roaches and shit," Adira muttered out to the boy and handed him her spare torch that was in the side pocket of her bag

"Wait, where did everybody get those?" Steve asked in shock and confusion as he looked at a few of the teenagers who were all holding their flashlights, he of course wasn't prepared and didn't even bother to bring anything. The only people who had flashlights were Robin, Adira, Dustin, Lucas and Max.

Dustin looked between his flashlight and Steve, his mouth dropping open as a scoff falls from his lips, "Oh my god... do you need to be told everything?" Dustin asked him as he rolled his eyes at Steve. Steve just stood there looking dumbfounded as Dustin scolded him, "You are not a child Steve."

"Thank you," Steve replied sarcastically as he tried to hide his embarrassment. Adira went over to her brother and swung her arm over his shoulders, flashing him her signature grin before looking over at Dustin

"Hey Dusty come on," Adira groaned before she removed her backpack from her shoulders and began to dig through it, pulling out a few more torches and handing them to the people who didn't have one. Everyone just looked at her in surprise as they thanked her, "I mean at least one of us needs to come prepared," she muttered out before throwing her bag back over her shoulder.

"Let's do this shit," Adira muttered out and then they began to walk around the house, they decided to all stay close together and tackle one room at a time considering there was a large chance that Vecna was walking around these halls.

Robin, Nancy and Adira flashed their lights into one of the rooms and looked around, all the furniture and photos had all been left behind. "They just left everything," Nancy muttered out in surprise and sadness as they looked at the ghost of the house. Everything was covered in dust and cobwebs, the once elegant and expensive furniture was now all pretty much trashed due to abandonment

"I guess a triple homicide isn't that good for resale value," Robin joked as her flashlight shone upon different parts of the furniture

"Triple?" Adira muttered out softly, looking over at a family photo that was sitting on the wall, drowning in dust yet still depictable. Her eyes landed on the son, Henry Creel, he was smiling in the photo, she felt sick to her stomach as she looked at him
