...

"...is that light...?"
A pair of crimson red cat-like eyes slowly cracked open after centuries of being shut.

"What happened?"
He asked himself as he stood up carefully.
He looked around, his cave had been destroyed as well as the comfortable casket he had made himself.

A whirl of icy wind hit his face as he peered outside.
It was day time, the sun was shining and reflecting on the white snow on the ground.
He glanced at the ground and noticed a very obvious crack in it.

He sighed, "looks like my cave broke because of an earth shake and I was woken from my slumber.
How disappointing."
he stretched, he could feel his blood circulation increase as he moved around a little more.

He walked back into the cave, it was too early to go outside.
"The last thing I remember was sending myself into eternal sleep because of the incident.
What year is it?"
He yawned, his fang caught his bottom lip because of how dry they were.

His stomach growled loudly, he desperately needed food.
"What a horrible situation."
He hummed to himself as a vague Memory hit his mind.
"Oh right.
Where did I put that ring?"
He rummaged around his black coffin and found it.
It was a blueish black band with a shiny rock look to it.

He slipped it on.
"Perfect.
Now I can get out and figure out what year it is.

And... Get some food."
He walked out the cave and properly stretched.
"I wonder how much has changed."
He grabbed the last pair of clothes he had and dressed.

He walked out the cave, he left snow prints of his shoes as he walked past barren trees.
After a long time of walking and getting his circulation pumping he eventually came across a city.

He let out a gasp as he looked around, "I was expecting a change...
But this much...???

What happened to the horses that people rode...??
The small little houses...

And what's with people's outfits...
How long has it been?"
He looked for a store and walked in.
With it being December and news years just around the corner, he easily figured out what year it was.

"...20-
..
20-???

No...
No way.
It's been that long...?

If that's correct then...

I've been asleep for 540 years...

Well that explains the bloody change...
Is this place still called Japan...?

Well the people around me are still speaking Japanese so...

I'd assume so.

What's wrong with that guy's head...?
Why does he have frog eyes?
Actually now that I look around.

What happened to humans...???
Did some other earthly beings come to earth and take over...?"
He walked over to the cashier and before he could even ask a question he was stricken with a rude remark.

"Your outfit...
You look like you walked out a history book...! Did you get them from your grandpa who held onto them from his great grandfather who also held onto them from his great Grandfather..-"
The cashier insulted.

"Infact I did...
It's a family heirloom and today's his death anniversary."
He decided to play along.

"Oh erm....I ap-"
