Riley's pov:

I leaned against the door as I tried to control my breathing

I heard running and in a minute Xavier was infront of me

"Are you okay? Are you hurt? did something happen?" His worried eyes swept over me as he held me in his arms

"Did you hear it? A gun shot? Someone got shot inside that room" I whispered pointing at the room beside me

Xavier let go of me and went inside that room a minute later he came out and we heard voices "Why the fuck did you do that?!" Alessandro yelled

"You did that!" Bianca yelled back

Does that mean they're okay?

As if he read my thoughts Xavier answered "they're okay the gun went off by accident" I let out a sigh of relief

"Why are you even here?" Antonio who I just noticed came with April narrowed his eyes at me

Sheesh take a chill pill annoying ass dude

"Alessandro was supposed to show me my room" I shrugged

"And why did you go with him? Why didn't you wait for me? Do you have any idea what he could've done?" Xavier said furiously

"Ok noted next time a mafia boss tells me something I'll tell him no I'll wait for my boyfriend and get ready to have my dead body delivered to your door step you douche!" I rolled my eyes and looked inside the room to find Alessandro hugging Bianca

That's a turn of events

"I'm not your boyfriend" he muttered

I looked at him in disbelief "right I just flew here with a complete stranger who I just met because I'm an idiot...okay I deserve that for acting stupid" I chuckled

"That's not what I-" I cut him off

"There's no other meaning to what you said Xavier, please just take me to a room and tomorrow I'll get a ticket to go back to California" I turned away from the room

"No you're not" he looked at me with a cold, distant look

"What do you mean?" I crossed my arms over my chest

"You're not leaving me Bella" is he crazy?

"Well you don't want to be my boyfriend Xavier so why can't I leave?" I raised my eyebrow at him

"You're mine you can't leave me, I don't like the title boyfriend but you're still mine" He licked his lips as his green eyes swept over my own lips

"Excuse you I can leave if I want to!" I said furiously

He laughed loudly then looked back at me dead serous "you can not" he looked around then back at me stepping towards me making me take a step back

"You can try...but trying to escape from a gang leader and a mafia leaders' house isn't so smart sweetheart" he said in low voice

He was about to take another step towards me but April stepped between us shielding me from him

"That's enough Xavier" she said

"Oh cmon I wasn't going to do anything to her I love her for God's sake! I was just...advising her" he shook his head
