In the Ahuja Mansion
Mr. and Mrs. Ahuja’s Room
Mrs. AHUJA : how dare she!! How dare she say my son's blood is filthy…… we have all rights on our granddaughter how could they
deny….Can’t we do anything??
Mrs. Ahuja was fuming in anger…but Mr. Ahuja was quiet…
Mrs. AHUJA : did you see that Kritika became more arrogant…just because she is achieving some success in her career…she has so
much attitude now…...
Mr. AHUJA : No… Shilpa… you are wrong…that’s not attitude or arrogance… that was
confidence….courage….. Yes… she has become more courageous… more confident…
Mrs. AHUJA : what are you saying?? Why are taking her side?
Mr. AHUJA : No… I am not taking anyone’s side… I am just telling the truth….. Love has made Kritika like this… not success in her career...... Our son, Rishi’s love had
broken her and Aniket’s love has made her… love brings this change in her
life….. Her family was always there with her and now her life partner is also

Mrs. AHUJA : what nonsense are you talking about? What happened to you suddenly?
Mr. AHUJA : Right sense has awakened in me … if it had awakened earlier maybe my son’s life
wouldn’t have ruined…

with Aniket, Kabir… but I also never tried to be like Kartik or Animesh…. Today
in their ( Animesh and Kartik) eyes there was pride, love, and happiness for their
children and in my eyes, there is shame, regret, and guilt ….. I have always blamed
Rishi that he is not a good son… but actually I am not a good dad… I have
failed as a father….But you also failed ,Shilpa… you also failed as a mother….
Mrs. AHUJA : I don’t want to talk with you… You are talking nonsense… don’t know suddenly what happened to you… my mood is already very bad… don’t make it worse…

At terrace… Rishi was sitting with a bottle of alcohol holding in her hand …looking towards the sky and tears were continuously falling from his eyes… when suddenly two
little hand wiped the tears…
MIHIR : why are you crying… uncle?
Rishi looked at Mihir and picked him up in his lap…
RISHI : Mihir… If I say you… you can call me whatever you want…what will you call me?
MIHIR : Dad (said instantly)
Rishi looked at Mihir quietly for a few minutes …
RISHI : why?
MIHIR : I know… you are not my real dad but I want you to be my dad… I... Love you.
RISHI : but… I am not a good dad… I am not a good person…
MIHIR : No… you are a good person… you are the best dad…I know…..you are my favourite person… I love you… can… can I call you dad from now on?
RISHI : Yes.. You can.
MIHIR : Thank you… thank you so much dad..( said this hugged Rishi with his little
arms)
Rishi also reciprocated the hug..
MIHIR : Dad, can I request you something?
RISHI : yes..
MIHIR : Can you please not drink this (pointing at the alcohol bottle) like her (his
mother) … I don’t like it..
RISHI : ok… I will not.
They both stayed there silently hugging each other…
RISHI : It’s quite late Mihir… go… go to sleep…
MIHIR : I… I….. Can you sleep with me today?
Rishi looked at Mihir and smiled..
RISHI : ok… let’s go..
Both father and son went towards the room to sleep with happy faces…

Aniket was in an important meeting with his
company’s employees… his father was also present there...one of the employees was
giving a presentation … and all the other members were listening very
quietly…in the room except for that employee’s voice nothing could be heard… at
this moment Aniket’s phone rang….seeing an unknown number with an annoyed face
Aniket hung up the call….after a second Again the phone started ringing….Now
with an annoyed face, Aniket picked up the call…
No one heard what the other party has said… but Aniket’s face became worried...
Seeing his son so worried Animesh asked him ‘what happened?’…
But without saying anything Aniket hurriedly left the meeting room….He (Animesh) has not heard what the other party has said… he has just heard Aniket say…
ANIKET : what?....... Yes, I am coming ….
