𝐎𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐚 is excited. It's an understatement. She's met the man once, but how she's feeling about him is something she hasn't felt in a long time. People, mostly men, don't really like her type of humour or think she comes on too strongly. Bucky said she was strange, but he didn't seem bothered by it. He seemed to like it, actually. They agreed on most things, which is pretty rare. She and Carol are friends, but they disagree on almost everything.
Olivia rushes through her room, flinging clothes onto her bed while trying to come up with something to wear. She's finished her makeup and showered. Her underwear is a nice matching red piece, which Carol, of course, rolled her eyes dramatically at.
The blonde is leaning up against the doorway, watching her friend scramble and stress. She calmly pushes away from the door and ambles over to the bed, where five different dresses are splayed out.
"What're you going for?" Carol ponders while picking up a red one with white flowers and holding it up against a lilac one with white and blue flowers. They both have a subtle v-neckline and end around the middle of Olivia's thighs.
"I don't know!? Hot?" She exasperatingly says while holding up one of her skirts against a tight ripped top.
"You should go with this one," Carol speaks calmly and holds up the red dress. She's not fazed in the slightest by her friend. It was the same thing when they were teenagers and about to go on their first dates.
Olivia twirls around, and she walks over to the bed, grasping the red fabric between her delicate fingers. She narrows her eyes at the dress and takes it, holding it up as she steps onto the bed. It's the only way she can see herself fully in the mirror. She fixes up the slight bow on the side.
"Why this one?"
"He likes red," Carol grumpily says and shakes her head.
"Lord, I love you," Olivia breathes in relief and looks tenderly at Carol.
"Be careful, it'll go to my head," the blonde says with a kind smile and walks out of the room, giving her the space to clean and get dressed.
The brunette sighs deeply and groans in annoyance at how carelessly she throws things about her room. She can't believe how little it takes for her room to become messy. The dress is quickly pulled over her head, and she gathers everything else. The shirts are folded neatly along with the pants, but when she gets to the underwear, she stops caring, and it's thrown into her closet. Just in time, as a knock sounds at the door.
Olivia quickly fixes her boobs and hair in the mirror, making sure everything sits as it should. She walks down the hallway and wraps her hand slowly around the doorknob, taking a deep breath before she opens the door.
