Explanation

After I said that, everybody except for harley, were starting to get up. As I look at mama who was looking around so confused like this was the first time I saw her this confused as she was slowly starting to panic

I quickly turned to ray and norman then shouted "Help me calm down mama!" now getting their undivided attention

We quickly calmed mama down after telling her that we'll explain everything to her after she calms down

I quickly looked over at gilda and asked "Gilda can you give us some water, please?" getting a nod from the dark green haired girl as she gave me a bottle of water which I gave to mama

As we let her settle down for a bit more, while trying to wake up a sleeping harley

"What happened?" mama suddenly asked as we were still waking up harley

"Well... What do you remember?" I asked

"All I remember was that there was a fire and that ray was in there then darkness." mama explained to which I nodded

"Well... All I can explain to you is that we made you think that we gave up but in actuality was actually making you pay attention to us while the rest of the kids were preparing for our escape. Then last night we started the escape, setting the kitchen on fire making you think that ray commited suicide but actually used raw meat and a piece of anna's hair to simulate that someone was in there then we started to escape leaving the younger kids behind after promising them that we'll be back for them and harley was carrying you on her back as we escaped... That's about sums up my explanation. Harley will explain the rest to you." I explained

Mama looked over at the younger kids trying to wake harley up with the older ones except for me trying to help them but couldn't even make her move an inch

I saw mama smile and said, making us quiver "Harley, it's time to wake up or would you like to have another talk with me?"

After mama said that, harley quickly sat up and said "I'm up! No need to tan my hide." making all of us laugh

She quickly looked at mama and gave her the best glare she could do at her but in our perspective was a cute puppy pouting with semi angry eyes with tears threatening to fall and said "It's not funny!"

Getting shut down but thoma and lannion say "But it is!" laughing some more

I saw Harley get an irk mark on her forehead then saw her do some hand gestures making some of the vines move to cover up thoma and lannion's mouth

Harley giggled at the sight of the two trying to get the vines off of their mouth but was failing miserably

"How?" I heard mama asked, getting all of our attention

"How are you still here? I saw you died that night, harley..." mama asked looking down on the ground

"Yeah! I got a frenemy who helped me out." she explained with a smile

"How are you holding up, mama?" she asked with a smile

"Why did you help me?" mama asked making harley tilt her head to the side and said "That's a dumb question to ask but if you must know it was because you are mama and is there any other reason other than that?"

"I lead you to your death as well as others and yet... Why?"

"I told you this before and I'll say it again... You may have done those things but I don't blame you for it... That and because I'm a simp..." harley said as she looked at the ground disappointed at herself for some reason then lifted it back up and took a deep breath and said "How about I start from the beginning?"
