The screams of her mother roared in her ears, waking up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night. It was the strangest thing ever for her, laying on the floor as the world around her was in slow motion, watching a cracked bottle hit the ground right beside her, having her aunt and mothers feet near  her. She tried to get the nightmare out of her head, getting out of bed and heading to take a cold shower, trying to get this feeling out of her.

December was coming faster than ever, it already started to snow, cancelling quidditch matches and practices so nobody gets hyperthermia. Rinsing her hair and letting the cool water hit her face, Nora started to feel better, less shaken up than before, grabbing her bottle and letting the coconut smell go into her hair, lathering it.

Turning the water off and grabbing her wand to do a quick drying spell, Nora had grab a fresh pair of night clothes to sleep in, keeping her robe and grabbing the book she still hadn't finished. It's been a week since the interaction with Remus Lupin, and yet the last thing he said to her made her think about the book and began to write her thoughts about it. When she was done with the book she thought showing Lupin the thoughts she had— especially with the ending.

"Hey what are you doing up?" Turning her head to see Cassie snare at her from the door, Nora saw the way her shirt was tucked in wrong, trying to not smirk. "Reading, I see you've beat the record to coming to the dorm late." Nora smiled, watching Cassie to her wardrobe.

Shutting her curtains and whispering lumos, Nora read her book with no interruptions, only being 4:30 in the morning, not to mention magical creatures cancelled because of the snow being too much to walk on until Filch finds a way to get rid of it on the steps. In other words, Nora had a lot of time to get through the last 100 pages, being an average fast reader.

Alas, that wasn't the case, Nora did not get to read her book just as she heard a peck on the window. Opening her curtain and seeing an owl, Nora put on her slippers and open the window, letting the owl sit on the ledge. "Hello fella, who do you belong to?" She whispered, hoping to not disturb the girls.

There was a letter that was addressed to Nora, wondering who it was from and opening up, looking to the bottom and gasping so loud she dropped the letter to the ground and made the owl go away, shutting the window. She grabbed the letter and stuffed it into her drawer, panicking while she tried to go back to sleep, mumbling a French song that always worked for regulus, wondering if it would work her for.

The next morning, Nora sat in the back of the library, stressing out over this note, a note she didn't even think was possible to receive. How did they know she was up at that time? And what could she possibly need to hear from them? A million things ran through her mind, biting her nails and stressing out.

Walking back and forth didn't help either when she started to scare the kids who did come to the back. "This cannot be happening. No way!" She mumbled to herself, putting her head between her knees and gently rocking back and forth. "What does she need from me!"

It took about twenty minutes for Nora to come down, doing a few laps around the library had helped. Sitting down and opening the letter, Nora could tell this was going to be a long one, already feeling her eyes water.

Rory,

Yeah I'm writing to you, I already assume you're freaking out as you're reading this but here we are. I hope you're well, Nora, there isn't a day that goes by where I don't think about you, sirius, and regulus.

I want you to know that if you have any thoughts about running away, my door is always open to you, regulus and Sirius; nobody should be living in a house where they are unloved. I don't know when the owl will deliver this, and hopefully not in the middle of the night. Although I'm a disgrace to the family, I want you to know that you can break one or two rules your parents set; live on the edge kid.
