Kim dokja:

You've known him for a while now.  You two met because you worked with the same company as him.  You thought that what the others think about how he looks like is a lie.  He's painfully handsome.  Not to mention, his personality makes him more attractive.  You have been keeping an eye on Dokja, learning that he loves reading novels/webnovels too.  You wanted to ask him so badly about what are his favorite novels/webnovels and who are his favorite authors but you knew that he'd freak out.  Possibly resulting to 'him' finding you scary and creepy.

But you didn't need to do that.  He found out himself that you loved reading novels/webnovels too.  At first, he thought you were an attractive person because of your looks.  You had a high rank at work, making him develop a little crush on you.  But after finding out that you love reading, he wanted to approach you more.  Soon enough, you two became really good friends. Always hanging out every weekdays, texting each other and walking together(it made Dokja stop having a crush on you because he sees you more as a sister rather than a lover and it broke your heart.).

Because of this, you fell for him harder.  It was painful. 

Because of the current situation right now, you know you should stop feeling like this but you couldn't help it.

Almost everyone else was sleeping except for you three.  Dokja, Sangah and you.  They were still drinking. 

They're so close to each other. 

Then you knew it.  They were about to kiss.  You felt a none-existing sword stabbed your chest.  "Ouch." You thought to yourself.

"H-huh?  W-What was I.."

"I think we've messed around enough.  It's time to get down to business."

Sangah noticed me staring at them with wide eyes.  "AH!  I'm so sorry (y/n)-ssi! "

Two of them were staring at me.

"Uhm."

"Right!  You need to rest.  Your eyes look tired!!"  said Sangah.

"O..kay-"

Why did the cupid have to be so cruel.

(Yoo Junghyeok)

You found out that some/most of the constellations prefer Junghyeok and Dokja together and it hurts you deep down.  You hated it. But you had no choice.  Besides, a ship is just a ship.  It won't sail, or would it? 

The thing is, you yourself don't stand a chance.   Dokja only sees you as a friend.  He will never love you and you know it.  It just hurts that you couldn't move on.  Your fists clenched and tears starts to blur your eyes as you watch Dokja helping Junghyeok and the others out.

Your fists loosened a bit.

Then you smiled.

At least the person I love is a kind person.

For now, what you should do is to refrain from Dokja dying again.

Yu Junghyeok:

You met him at the broken road filled with zombies.  He saved you, not because he pitied you, but because he found out that you are similar to a prophet.  Someone who knows the future.  (Well that's because you read the novel.)

Through out the scenarios you two would get through together along with Jihye, you gained feelings for him.  You knew that deep down, your heart was calling for Junghyeok.  But, you also know that he doesn't feel the same way. 

(Lee Seolhwa)

(They aren't married in this fanfic but are close friends and companions.)

You watch the way Seolhwa attends for Junghyeok's needs and the way they look at each other.  They look so inlove.  It's painful. You shooked your head and walked away with tears blurring your eyes.

It happened again, why do the people you fall inlove with always does not love you back.  It's always one sided.  Maybe you're cursed.  Jihye noticed you crying and immediately runs to you.  "Unnie!  Why are you crying, did something happened?" 

Then she noticed Junghyeok and Seolhwa.  Jihye looks at you.  "Oh..  I'm sorry.  I'll help you move on." She whispered.  Making sure the others won't be able to hear it.  "How about let's watch the sun go down together?"

You happily obliged.

If only my feelings for you never existed.

The two fit in with the trope, "Enemies to lovers" so much.  Not to mention, even some constellations ship Dokja and Junghyeok together.  Well ships don't sail right?  Or maybe..  So that's why you thought you had the chance.  But sadly, Junghyeok only sees you as a companion.  No more than that.   It hurts deep down.
