My mom was standing in the kitchen with her arms crossed and a stern look on her face. "Where have you been?" She asked. I quickly tried to justify that I was next door because i forgot my house keys. "That is not a good enough excuse." She states. I knew I was in trouble. I was grounded for the weekend.

I walk up to my room and lay down on my bed. I think about Tom and how he was so nice to me. I smile to myself and drift off to sleep.

Over the weekend, I had to stay in my room. I can't help but think about Tom and how he was so sweet to me. I know I have a massive crush on him and I couldn't wait to see him again.

Finally, Monday rolls around and I am allowed to go outside. I quickly rush to get ready for school. I sprint downstairs and out the door. Luckily for me, my mom was already out for work. I run over to Tom's house and knock on the door. He opens it with a smile and I feel my face heat up. "Hey! My mom already left. I was wondering if your mom could drive me to school again today.". I can't help but feel a connection and I know I am falling for him.

Tom's mom agrees to drive me to school and I get in the car. We make small talk and I can't help but smile. I'm so giddy that I barely pay attention to the conversation. We arrive at school and I thank Tom's mom before getting out. I stand there for a moment, not wanting to go inside. I turn around and look at Tom. I can feel my cheeks blush as I manage to whisper, "Thank you for everything". He smiles and I can feel my heart skip a beat. I turn around and walk into school, feeling like I'm floating. Tom walking close behind.

I spend the rest of the day thinking about Tom and how sweet he was to me. I can't help but feel that there is something special between us. After school, Tom and I walk home together, still talking about random things. We get to his house and say our goodbyes. He gives me a hug before I leave and my heart skips a beat again.

As I walk down the street back to my house, all I can think about is Tom's beautiful blue eyes and perfect smile. It feels like fate brought us together that day. It seems like this could be the beginning of something extraordinary...

After stepping into my house I suddenly remember that I had a package in my room. I quickly run up to my room to open up my package. "YES! IT'S FINALLY HERE!"
