ASHTONS POV
I thought I was finally going to be happy.
But I was soooo wrong.
After I got released from the hospital, I went to Luke's house since it wasn't safe to go back home.
His mom was really sweet to me, she even offered letting me move in with them.
I declined though, Joe and my mom would find me and kill me.
That's sort of what happened next..
Luke and I were cuddled on the couch watching a movie I wasn't even paying attention to.
I was to busy admiring his features.
A knock on the door was heard, so Ms.Hemmings got up to answer the door.
Talking was heard but neither Luke or I knew who it was.
"Ashton dear! Your mom is here!" My eyes widen.
Luke got up, not knowing what goes on in my house.
I stayed put with wide eyes.
"Baby aren't you coming?" He looked at me with a confused look.
I sucked in a deep breath and nodded. "Y-yeah in coming."
I shakily stood up and followed Luke to the front door.
My mom was there actually looking somewhat decent. She didn't look too drunk, you can tell she was drinking before she came though.
Her dirty short blonde hair is pulled into a small ponytail, and she actually has some makeup on.
"Ashton! Where have you been?! I've missed you!" Obviously a fake happy voice.
She pulled me into a really tight hug, but I bit back a wince.
"I-I've missed you t-to?" Mrs.Hemmings looked at me in confusion.
"Um hi, I'm Ashton's boyfriend." Luke says.
Inside I'm dying, my mom didn't even know I was gay.
She's going to kill me.
"Oh, boyfriend." She puts on a really fake smile nodding toward Luke.
"Well I'm sure you're treating my boy well." She tugs at my arm and pulls me out the door.
"Well we should be going. Don't want to be late to the dinner with your dad."
Joe is not my dad never will be.
Before we can say anything she yanks me out of the house and down the street to our house.
I bit back yelps of pain the whole way.
The second we got home, I wished I would've died.
