Parties are quite ridiculous when having to sneak around after curfew, avoiding the prefects doing their duties. Nora still couldn't believe she was going to help Potter, even after the two haven't talked for a few days. Thinking it was best to give him a few days, Nora walked to the basement by herself, hoping to not be caught by anyone.

"Stupid. I could be studying but no, wearing a dress and my hair is in a updo all because I stupidly agreed." She grumbled to herself while walking down the stairs and seeing the room so yellow, having the door wide open and music playing so much.

"Hey babes, I didn't know you were coming to this." Said Betty, a little tipsy from the looks of it. "You never told me, I would've came with you." Nora smiled, letting her go and mingle.

There weren't food at this party, nor any drinks that were drinks that didn't make you groggy in the morning. Sitting down on the bright yellow couch and beside Emmeline Vance, the two quietly sat together and ignored each other's presence.

"Not a party person?" Vance finally caved in and asked Nora. Nora of course had to take a minute what she said because of the loud music, shaking her head and crossing her legs. "Me neither, I was only coming for the food but realized they don't have any."

Nora awkwardly nodded and smiled, turning her head to see two boys that turned to her direction before coming towards her. It looked like Lupin and Potter were plotting something before Lupin left Potters side, getting a pat on the back. "Ah the Lily lover, heard he finally respected her space and moved on."

Chatty this one.

"Wondered who made him move away from Lily, it certainly wasn't his three friends." Vance chuckled. "I also wondered." Nora simply said, smirking to know she was the one who said she should— which by the way she still thinks is a ridiculous idea.

"But I mean who wouldn't want to be with Potter, I heard he has.. a six pack." Nora wiggled her eyebrows, not sitting on the edge of the couch anymore.

Vance gasped and leaned in closer, having a shocked face. "Six? Oh merlin! Lily is missing out." She said loudly. Nora giggled to know how tipsy Vance was, seeing if she would believe what Nora says about him. "Oh yeah, not to mention he is co-captain with Frank Longbottom? Any girl would be treated right with James Potter." Nora whispered, getting Vance to hum and bite her lip.

"I like you Black, we're now friends okay?" Vance said drunkly, getting up and giving a thumbs up to her. Nora sat there and watched Vance go up to Potter and bite her finger, winking at the confused looking boy.

Looking away from the eyes of potter, knew smiled and put the notes of things to say into her dress pocket, watching everyone be so happy with their life. Maybe it was just Nora, but since being a member of the sacred 28' is so special, she wondered what it would be like to live a life without such high expectations on a child, watching everyone in the room enjoy the music and drinks, being underage and such.

Shaking out that thought and asking herself what her mother would think, she interrupted by potter coming to sit by her with distance and looking at her. "What did you say to Emmy?" He almost demanded, not even a hello or anything.

"Four eyes, didn't your mother teach you manners? You talk to your mum with that mouth?" Nora asked with shame, acting disappointed.

"Oh relax, Vance is into you... somehow. The six pack one works by the way. She could barely walk when I told her, you charge 5 galleons per date." Nora sarcastically said, realizing potter wouldn't understand and start to freak out. "I'm not selling myself for dates!" He cried out, having his eyes go all over the place in a panic.
