- Ran POV -

I slightly glared as Rindo and (Y/n) were becoming closer. She's made moves on Hanma, Madarame, and even my little brother. That Sanzu guy is also wrapped around her finger. When is she going to make a move on me? Clearly, my tactics don't work on her. "DJing? Never picked you as the type of guy to like that sort of thing." (Y/n) said. "It's just a small hobby," Rindo replies as he rubs the back of his head. "Maybe you can show me your 'small' hobby sometime." I watched as she gets closer to his face. "Maybe you can one day." He hums as he stares deeply into her dark eyes. I can't handle this. "Who needs a drink? (Y/n), can you help me?" I ask. "I guess." We walk away from the group and went to the store.

I looked at her as she held no expression. "I'm going to get Izana's and Hanma's snacks. I'll be there in a minute to help with the drinks." She says. I was supposed to spend this time with her. "Sure." I walked to get the drinks and tried to think of a conversation to start with her when she gets back. "He looks so handsome. Do you think he has a girlfriend?" A girl whispers, well, she tries but she's obviously loud. I took a side glance at the two girls. Both clearly pick me girls. I roll my eyes and continued to get the drinks. "Ne, are you done yet?" I got a bit jumpy as (Y/n) suddenly appeared. "Geez, what are you?! A freaking cat?!" I hiss at her. She laughs at me. "The great Haitani Ran is spooked because of little ol' me?" She chuckles.

"Shut up! Let's just get these to the guys." I grumble. She continues to laugh. I almost felt glad it happened because it was nice to hear her laugh and smile, but I still don't like it if she's laughing at me. We were walking back in silence as I failed to try to talk to her. Sometimes I don't know how to talk to her. When I first saw her, I thought she would be easy to talk to, however, it's harder than I thought. "Take a picture, it will last longer." She smirks as she gives me a side glance. I cursed at myself for looking at her for too long. "I didn't think you would find interest in someone like me. Did it start at the Bloody Halloween?" She asks. I guess I was staring at her the whole time, but how could she have known? "I'm an observant person, Ran. These eyes see everything. . .well almost everything." I raise a brow at how her words ended with bitterness.

"You could say that, but to be honest, it's when I heard the tales of the great Athena," I reply to her. "You make it sound like I'm an old legend from a million years ago." She chuckles. I chuckled back. She sighs and leans her head to the side. "My first glance at you, I only thought you date like girls like her." She nods her head back at the store. "You have the charm and looks for it, so it wouldn't take long for them to get wrapped around your finger." Her big dark eyes look at my violet eyes. "Everyone loves a pretty little mansion." She said but her voice sounded different. I grab her hand making her stiffen up for a moment. "Not everyone wants the same thing." I told her. We stopped walking and she looks up at me. "So you would love a haunted house?" she asks. I lean closer to her. "I wouldn't mind a good scare." I chuckle. She rolls her eyes. "You'll find more than just a scare." She replies. "Nothing is scaring me out."

Her lips felt cold, but I couldn't care any less about it. "Lips of an angel." I grin. "Lips of a devil." She grins back. Before we could walk back, I pulled her close and kissed her cheek. Taking a picture of us. "Gotta take a picture for it to last longer." I chuckle. "You are something else, Haitani Ran." She shakes her head and smiles. We continued to talk or tease as we went back to the others.
