I've been here in my dorm for at least an hour now and it's so boring and exhausting. I sighed, putting my headphones on my ears as I shuffled the music on my MP3 player.
I decided to take a walk around campus. It's already noon. I would go grab a bite to eat, but all that Bullworth food looks weird. Besides, why would I waste staying indoors wallowing in my dorm when I can enjoy the beautiful day ahead of me?
I was jamming out to my music until I heard a boisterous voice...
"Look at what we have here boys!"
Who was this blonde-haired pimple-faced ass hoe? I put my headphones around my neck. Behind him were a group of boys with dirty, untucked button-downs, identical to his.
"We've got fresh meat..."
The guys then catcalled and whistled in my direction. I figured if I ignored them and put my headphones on they'd go away, but they didn't. I seriously wasn't in the mood to be the butt of these boys' activities.
"Look, guys," I sighed in exhaustion, "I've had a rough day. Could you at least bother someone else?" The idiots didn't seem content with the response I gave them.
"I really don't like your tone there, baby. We should teach you to respect your fellow classmates."
The group of guys ganged up on me agreeing with their friend. What the hell's going on here? I noticed the group of bullies inching closer toward me. At this point, tears were forming in my eyes and I could feel myself trembling.
"That's a pretty necklace you've got there. Mind if I borrow it?"
Before I could respond the blonde-haired boy raised his hand up at me and...
SNATCH!
That asshole took my locket!
"Hey! Give that back!" I shouted assertively at the bully.
"Yeah, and whatcha' gonna do 'bout it, snitch?"
Those asshats just laughed and laughed as the main one dangled the silver piece of jewelry above me. How could they do this? It wasn't right! My emotions got to me and tears started falling down my cheeks.
As I almost grabbed to reach my locket by the chain, I was forcefully shoved falling backward on my butt. The laughter grew and grew. I couldn't take this anymore, this whole thing has got to be a mistake. Why were people just standing there and not doing anything about it? I shouldn't have moved! Why did my parents' stupid business have to fail? I don't belong here, I just wanna go home.
Defeated, I sat up on my knees, my head slouched, tears falling from my face.
"You guys are seriously fucked up!" A mysterious voice said.
I immediately looked up from where I was sitting and saw a short, yet muscular boy. His hair was buzzed, but you could still see his natural hair color. It was ginger, but not a bright red. He had an intense scowl on his face. His eyebrows were ARCHED and his mouth was pouted. Freckles were scattered across his nose and cheeks. I noticed an earring on one of his ears. Yup, he definitely had that "bad" look about him. Yet, his appearance was incredibly appealing.
"How 'bout you dumbasses back off!"
My eyes widened at the sight of him approaching them.
What the hell was he thinking? He was about 5 inches shorter than every one of them. And hello? He's one kid against like--six!
"What makes you think you can just talk to us like that, new kid?"
His already fierce scowl became even more fierce. He ran and immediately began attacking the group. He started with the one with blonde hair. He threw a couple of punches at him, then shoved him to the ground. The locket fell right out of the blonde's hand.
