Chapter 8 ☆ First Harbinger Encounter

So after deciding to sneak out, you tried to be as quiet as possible while slipping away. Luckily you went unnoticed by the guards and Ayato, who is asleep in his room. 'Thank god...'

Trying to decide on a wide open area to practice was difficult. 'Maybe the beach around Chinju Forest would be good, nobody really inhabits that area.'

Walking a ways away from where you originally arrived in Inazuma, you go to the beach nearby.

"Okay, I can do this. I'll just do what I did before first as a warm up."

Imbuing your polearm with electro you thrust it up to the sky and luckily you get the same result. Thunder comes crashing violently down around you.

"This feeling is the best, holy shit. Although that was SUPER loud."

Unbeknownst to you, Fatui had been patrolling the area for Scaramouche. A few of them heard the loud booming sound and came closer, they noticed you were the woman from earlier. One of them headed back to their camp to inform Scaramouche. He practically sprinted over.

"Alright, I'm going to try to release all of the electro flowing through me and see how that goes."

Twirling the Raiden Shogun's polearm around similar to how Thoma does, you increasingly bring it up higher and use your move from earlier as the lightning crashes around you with more intensity than before, you also channel the electro to release from your body and out through your hands.

Scaramouche was watching you wide eyes. "Tch, I hate to admit it but that was incredible." He continues to watch what you do next and what he sees is on beyond his power.

A giant purple vortex that is spewing lightning appears out of your hands, once it distances itself from you and continuously grows in size. At least several yards in diameter. Upon seeing this you almost shit yourself, and you step back as it continues to grow. It begins to suck up nearby objects, quickly. Clouds are turning dark and a storm is coming in, and fast. You begin to panic. 'HOW IS THIS STILL GROWING? AND NOT STOPPING?'

Massive bolts of lighting shoot out from the vortex in all directions, you jump out of the line of fire. As you do a lightning storm is brewing at an increasingly fast rate. 'Holy shit, how is this even possible. I need to run!'

Running to get a good distance away from the vortex that has not disappeared, it collapses in on itself and creates a gigantic explosion unlike anything you've ever seen, even on TV. You're terrified and brace yourself for impact when suddenly you're being lifted up and quickly moved to a safer distance.

You could not believe that THE Scaramouche was holding you in his arms. You see him still staring at what happened, he looks terrified. He finally looks at you, sets you down and speaks to you.

"Just who the hell are you?!" he yelled and looked at you with an indiscernible expression.

Speechless, that's what you were when you looked at him. 'This is the real life Scaramouche. I'm terrified but so enthralled by him.' Dominance is radiating from him, so much so that it's almost hard to breathe but for some reason you are finding an odd sense of comfort from him, you are loving it.

"Thank you for saving me, I'm unsure what would have happened had you not. I don't know if my own powers would hurt me, but it's better to be safe than sorry. So you have my thanks. I'm Y/n by the way." you give him a close eyed smile and a little wave.

Scaramouche looks at you silently for at least 15 seconds. 'Jesus Christ, is he gonna say something? He's been staring at me for a millennia...'

"Tch, she's more powerful than me, I'd say that amount of raw power rivals the Shogun." he whispered so quietly that you couldn't hear him. "Seriously, who are you, where did you come from and how do you have so much raw power?!"

You stare blankly at him, 'what the hell do I even say to that?! I can't just straight up say "yEaH sO i DiEd aNd mAGiCaLLy sHoWed uP iN uR wOrLd bTw uR wOrLd iS a ViDeO gAmE iN MiNe." he would probably kill me.'

"You can say I'm somewhat like the traveler... although I'm not trying to save every fucking nation for nothing in return. I'm new to this world and I'm just discovering these powers that I have. And for some reason I'm loving the feeling that it gives me. In my previous life I was more of a researcher and but now I have these powers, it's life changing. I'm unsure of where to go and what to do from here after seeing what I am capable of." 'OKAY WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK DID I JUST SAY TO HIM???? Omgomgomgomg, he's gonna see me as a threat and kill me! But if I'm gonna die, this is how I want to go out.'

Scaramouche looks taken aback by all of the information you just spit at him. 'What an idiot why would she disclose such information so willingly to a Harbinger? Does she not know about the Fatui then? This Y/n girl is definitely the one the Tsaritsa is looking for, I have to take her back to Snezhnaya.'

"Foolish woman, why would you disclose that information to someone you barely know? Do you not know who I am?"

'Maybe because I'm actually stupid and want to live out my fantasies. I want your fine ass to want me as much as I want you. Although I doubt it will be an easy task, not as effortlessly as it was with Ayato. Lol, maybe he'll whisk me away with him and I can gather Fatui secrets and miraculously find Dainsleif and tell him what's good. Because Dain is the ultimate daddy. OKAY OKAY, let's get serious. I'll remain mysterious and vague for now with him.'

"Yes, I do know who you are Scaramouche, the 6th Fatui Harbinger, or should I say Kunikuzushi? Hehe." you look at him deviously while also not trying to laugh because you know he's about to lose his shit.

"What the fuck did you just say? How the hell do you know my real name? Explain yourself!"

"What would be the fun in that? A little mystery is exciting, is it not?"

"What the fuck? Not in this situation it's not! Regardless, you're coming with me to Snezhnaya, the Tsaritsa is requesting your presence. No, you do not have a say in this."

"I wouldn't have said no, I'm down to spend time with this fine ass man."

He quirks his head to the side. "What do you mean by that?" he looked at you like he could hear your thoughts.

"SHIT DID I SAY THAT OUT LOUD?"

"Yes, you did." he looked away blushing.

"HAHA, I made you blush!"

"NO YOU DIDN'T YOU INSOLENT WOMAN."

"I'm clearly not that insolent if the Tsaritsa is requesting me, which I'm assuming is why you're on a mission to find me. Plus, not even 5 minutes ago you just told me how powerful I was. Did you not?"

"Ugh, you're already a huge pain in my ass."
