(This is a little venting poem I wrote about my mother, someone I don't exactly have the best relationship with . . . It may be rather intense, but I hope you enjoy, nonetheless~)You never shut up and
listen
to what I have to say.You think that by shouting and just saying
"because",
you'll get your way.You make up rules whenever you think it's convenient to.
You change your mind as soon as it stops benefitting you."I don't read minds", you say, and yet you get mad at me
Whenever I misunderstand something, so please, help me to seeWhat is it, for fuck's sake, that you need me to do?
'Cuz nothing's ever been, or is, or will be good enough for youIt's always you, you, you, and yet you think you have the right
To say you've done so much for me
That you've sacrificed your lifeAnd dedicated it to me, when in reality,
You just want another thing to control,
Get a pet, stop using me.
