- Takemichi POV -

On the day of Emma's funeral, (Y/n)-Chan wasn't around. She stood outside as we gathered inside to pay our respects to her family. Mikey and Izana sat next to their grandfather. I began to worry for (Y/n)-Chan's well-being. The way she acted at the Kanto Incident wasn't normal. It definitely wasn't normal how she felt about Emma's death. 

"(Y/n)-Chan, are you sure you're okay?" I ask her as I found her outside. "How would you feel when the last words of your sister were that she hated you?" She asks. "That she had no regret on saying those awful things. That she never wanted to be your sister again." She adds. I sat down next to her and rub her back. "I'm sorry, (Y/n)-Chan. Everything should've been different. Please don't let this bring you down. Even if you lost a sister, you gained a brother. Please take your time and space to think, okay?" I wasn't sure if I should confront her about her change of attitude. Something deep down told me that I shouldn't tell her just yet. She looks at me and smiles gently. It reminded me of the time when we first met. Her gentle and warm smile. "I will. Thank you, Takemichi." She leans her head on my shoulder and I patted her head in comfort.

"What's this about, Takemichi?" Draken asks as we gathered in one of the rooms. Not everyone knew that I could time travel, except Mikey, Draken, and Chifuyu. Still, even if Izana is alive and seems to change his ways, did I change anything from the horrible future that I witnessed? "Something is wrong with (Y/n)-Chan," I said. "Hah? What do you mean? She's in mourning." Smiley said. I shook my head. "That's not it. The night Kisaki got fired from Toman. . .she told me about how she truly felt. Mikey. . .you made her think that possession is how love is supposed to be. For her to always stay with the person she loves. I'm guessing that she felt something for Hanma and got hurt when he left. That's why she acted out." I said. "'Isn't that what everyone who loves me wants me to do? To just stay with them and tell them I'll never leave?' that's what she said that night." Mikey looked down and shook his head. "All I wanted to do was protect her. Did I lose my idea of protecting her to protect myself from falling? That I twisted my sister's mind of love?" Mikey asks. 

"Mikey, not all of this is your fault. I grew possessive of (Y/n) as well when we were dating." Kazutora confessed. "Stay. . .she probably hates that word at this point." He adds. "Lately, she's been saying that she felt trapped in a box that was suffocating her. Ever since Shinichiro-San died, she felt trapped." I said. "Box? Didn't she say that in the Kanto Incident?" Baji asks. I nodded and I felt my hand shake a bit. "(Y-Y/n). . .(Y/n)-Chan felt. . .relieved about Emma's death. Like she can breathe again. . .in the 'box'." I replied. Their eyes widen in shock. "But (Y/n) loved Emma. She never wanted any harm to come to Emma despite their differences." Mitsuya retorts. "Emma caused her to feel bad about herself. There was no chance that she was going to apologize for what she did or said." Izana said. "We have to make sure that (Y/n) feel less tied down and help her get back up to her old self. To see and fix anything that is off about her. We can't let her think that this is okay. That it's okay to think that family or friends deaths are a way of relief." I said. They all nodded and we walked out of the room. 

._A few days later_.

I stood in front of Mikey and (Y/n). "Can you tell us about it?" (Y/n) asks. "Everything about you coming from the future." (Y/n) looks at me with her big dark eyes. 

~ Imma skip a little~

"Ken-Chin, I'm starving." Mikey whines. "How many times are you going to complain about that, Mikey?" Draken frowns. "Yeah, don't be such a fata**, Mikey." Izana said. "What did you call me?!" Mikey shouts. "Shut up, Mikey!" Baji hisses at him. I felt so happy to see everyone alive. Mikey, Draken, Baji, Chifuyu, Hinata, Hakkai, Mitsuya. . .everyone. With so many things going on around me. . .I've overlooked something very important. 

I got to catch up on what everyone was doing in their lives. Mikey and Izana reopened S.S Motors and are somewhat rivals to Inui and Draken's Motor shop. Baji, Kazutora, and Chifuyu own a pet shop together. A big surprise was that Mikey adopted a kid. Her name is Emika, meaning "Blessed beautiful child". She's at least 7 years-old. I then noticed that a face was missing. 

"By the way. . .where's (Y/n)?" I ask.
