Chapter XIII: "Date with Blue Hotboy"

Last night was amazing. I could barely sleep. I just kept on smiling to myself thinking about Jimmy, Petey, and I. I just laid there in my bed, reminiscing on last night. I was awake extra early today and although I didn't get any sleep, I felt energized. There was no use in trying to sleep much longer. I leaped out of my bed and put on some warm comfy clothes and I did my hair and makeup. I was ready to walk down to the cafe for breakfast. The cafe was open, but no one but Edna was there.

"Are ya here to get some tuna bean casserole?" I heard Edna screech.

"Oh, no. I'm just looking for an apple or some fruit."

"Honey, this is breakfast!"

"Casserole?"

"Are ya gonna take it or not? These beans don't serve themselves!"

"Um, no thanks." I passively winched in disgust moving away from this "tuna bean casserole."

"Suit yourself, honey! This stuff's reallllllly good!" Edna reassured me. She then took a big wooden spoon and scooped a chunk out of the casserole and ate it. "AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" Edna maniacally laughed.

"O-okay then." I grabbed a banana and dashed out of the cafeteria.

As I ran out of the Cafeteria, I bumped into Dr. Crabblesnitch. He loudly cleared his throat.

"Oh my god! I'm very sorry, Dr. Crabblesnitch! I didn't mean to bump into you!"

"Why are you in such a rush, (Y/N)? Classes start after Christmas Break!"

"Oh--um--I-- was just getting breakfast-"

"Nevermind that child, I actually wanted to speak with you this morning."

"Huh? Really? Am I--am I in some sort of trouble...?" I timidly asked.

"Just come into my office and we'll discuss this matter."

Dr. Crabblesnitch lead me into his office within the main office. I sat directly in front of him and he sat in his desk. Not gonna lie, this was seriously intimidating.

"Miss (L/N), it was brought to my attention by a student you've made immature comments about my mother and barnyard animals." Dr. Crabblesnitch firmly stated.

"What? I never said that! I would never say such a thing! Who told you this!?" I assertively said.

"An anonymous student left a note on my desk. My office is locked at all times, so I'm not even sure how it got there." Just when I thought the rumors about me would die down...

"So you're accusing me of saying that just because it was written on a note and placed on your desk? I don't know, Dr. Crabblesnitch. This all seems pretty shady to me." This absolutely had to be Gary's doing, He's the only kid in the school that really has it out for me...

"I just wanted to bring it up with you, that's all. But--that isn't the only thing I would like to discuss with you. You see, Bullworth is a very small school so I know who the students are friendly with around here. I've taken notice of you and that Hopkins boy."

"Yes, Dr. Crabblesnitch, what about him?"

"That boy is mischievous (Y/N) and you're a very nice girl, I'm not one to force things upon others, but maybe it's within your best interest not to converse with that boy."

"Okay, sir. Is that it?"

"No, Miss (L/N). Don't be too eager to leave. I want to mention an illegal absence on your record here as well." What? I haven't skipped at all recently.
