🇮🇳CHAPTER THIRTY SEVEN~

Sonarika walked into the Red Fm office while talking to Trishani over the phone.

"Mujhe believe nahi ho raha Shreyas neh terese propose karwa liya. Manna padega dam hain bande mein!", she said with a chuckle.

"Sunn pyar hota haina toh yeh sab matter nahi karta, koi bhi propose kare we should just be happy,"Trishani said as Sonarika said, " True though. Chalo tum sabki love story suru hogayi mujhe kab milegi yaar."

"Tu toh blind date pe jaa rahi hain aaj. Toh tere khwabon mein jo aye kya pata voh yahi ho!"

"Miss. Simran Thakur real life mein ayengi aap zara? I know your love story seems like a movie but that's not how most things works in reality besides it's just a sponsored thing, team ke sponsors hain yeh log isliye ana padha."

"Haan haan thik hain. Lekin Rahul ke sath tera kuch hone se raha isliye you might as well try to find someone else."

Sonarika said with a sigh, "I know! Chal I have to go now. Talk to you later. "

She hanged up and turned around as she felt a tap on her shoulder and found Armaan Malik standing there.

"Woah! What a pleasant surprise!", Sonarika said and Armaan added with a chuckle, " A pleasant surprise indeed. I guess you are my date for the evening. By the way big fan!"

"Thank you but even I was going to say the same thing. I love your songs my playlist is filled with your songs," Sonarika said.

"Well thank you. I'm honoured really, " Armaan said as Sonarika passed him a warm smile.

The show runners explained them the format of the show which was pretty simple as basically they would be on a real date, just that it would be recorded.

The show started and the duo got along quite well as they had some really fun conversations, they laughed at each other's silly jokes and answered questions and played games in between.

After the show ended, Armaan clicked a photo with Sonarika and said, "I really had fun tonight. I didn't think I'll have this much fun. "

"Me too, I didn't want to come only but it was not as bad as I had thought. It was actually very much fun. All thanks to you ofcourse," Sonarika said.
Armaan smiled and extended his hands towards her and said, "So friends?"

Sonarika gave a nod and shook hands with him saying, "friends!"

"Now that we are friends, let me tell you secret.." Armaan said and Sonarika arched her brows at him as he gave her a cheeky smile.

Rahul was sitting with Athiya and she was busy talking over the phone about her upcoming movie. Meanwhile he started scrolling through the insta feeds in his phone and came across Sonarika's post. She had reposted a post made by Armaan, which was regarding their blind date programme.

"Yeh toh badi khush dikh rahi hain. Ek sponsored programme hi toh hain itna paas paas khade hoke photo khichne ki kya jarurat?", Rahul murmured seeing the photo of the duo and Athiya asked, "Did you say anything baby?"

"Uhh no..nothing," he said as Athiya gave a nod and went back to her call as Rahul looked at the post again while thinking, "She haven't talked to me since that match against us and now she's mingling up with new people huh. "

He checked her profile and fumed while checking the following list as she followed Armaan and he followed her back as well.

Rahul knew Sonarika only followed people she actually adored and that somewhere made his heart sting a bit. He wasn't sure why he was feeling like this but he didn't like seeing Armaan with Sonarika at all.
