Chapter 14: The lecture

After Krystal and Katt talked. Krystal went to go check on Jimmy and sees him and Fox having fun doing hand to hand combat in the training room. Jimmy was throwing some punches while Fox dodges and told him some defense moves and blocking and he was getting better at the timing. Krystal smiled and saw Jimmy's thoughts of wanting to be a mercenary like them and really want his dream to come true when he gets older.

"Having fun, you two?" Krystal asked.

"Yep. He's getting better at his blocking. And knows how to fight hand combat a lot better." Fox says.

"Yeah. I'm doing well. Can I please go on the next mission now?" Jimmy asked.

"Sweetie, you still have a long way to go. But you are improving. Don't worry, the time will come if its time. And it's time for you to go to bed." Krystal says.

"I'm not tired yet. I want to train some more." Jimmy says.

"Jimmy, its 10-o clock. And sleep is very important. We can train some more tomorrow." She says as she picked him up and took him to his bedroom.

As she laid him on the bed and tucked him in, she looked through his mind to see if he is stable. Jimmy easily fell asleep as she turned off the light and kissed him in the forehead before leaving and closing the door. She then went to her room and laid down and started to try to go deeper into Jimmy's memories again and try to get a clearer sight to them as she closes her eyes.

She starts to see a memory of when Jimmy being found by a couple human police officers when they took him out of the dumpster. She then looked deeper and sees a few that did make her feel severe sympathy. She sees that Jimmy didn't really have a good life in the orphanage while he was growing up. She finally got out of his head and tried not to drop tears. She took a deep breath and decided to sleep for the night.

Falco headed to his room and then sees Katt at the door with a disapproved look.

"What?" He asked.

"We need to talk. Now." She says with a stern tone and opens the door.

"What's going on?" Falco asked.

"Krystal told me you were being abusive to Jimmy." Katt says.

"What? She's overreacting." Falco says.

"Stop lying! Krystal told me that you said that Jimmy should've been left on Earth." Katt confronted.

"He shot me down. And set me on fire." Falco said.

"That was a fucking accident. You need to understand to be tolerant to children. Not say something like that of thinking that's okay of abandoning him on Earth. And you scaring him off into the forest and getting him kidnapped by Andrew. What if they killed him? Or worse, raping him and torturing him? Wolf almost killed him! And you didn't care and played on your video game like nothing happened!" Katt explained.

"I didn't mean that to happen. I can't stand kids." Falco says.

"Well, you need to start learning about children. Because Jimmy is not going anywhere. He had no family to care of him! His biological parents left him in a fucking dumpster as a newborn! He didn't have friends at the orphanage! He was constantly bullied as well until he had to run away when he defended himself! Don't you understand?! He had a horrible life! I know losing your mother is hard for you right now but you to start thinking about others than yourself!" Katt explained.

"Katt... look. I'm sorry."

"Don't say sorry to me Falco. Say sorry to Jimmy and to Krystal!"

"Alright. Ok. I'll try."

"Don't Try! Do! Because eventually I want a family and I want a husband that is care loving father. And if you won't be tolerant to children. Then, you are not the right husband for me. Keep that in mind!" Katt shouted and slammed the door as she left.

Falco then started to have guilt, not because of brink of losing Katt but started to get the message of how he was to Jimmy. He sat down and remembered a memory of his mother taking him to the park when he was young. He remembers of how the moments he had until after he returned to Corneria after the Sauria mission, He will never forget of getting the news of his mother passing away by a fatal heart attack. It scarred him for life and made him a little surly to others and drank heavily until Katt tried to turn his life around before marrying him.

Later, During the middle of the night, Fox was trying to find Pigma's location and found a possible location somewhere at Sector Z. Fox pinned the location on the map before heading to bed for the night. While Jimmy was asleep, he was having one of his PTSD nightmares. In his dream, He sees a few bullies including Josh beating him brutally on the outside play area of the orphanage. Jimmy being kicked, punched, and receiving many blows. Josh then came back with a wooden box and was about to bash it on Jimmy's head but, Jimmy grabbed a hidden glass shard in the grass and stabbed it in Josh's leg.

Josh screamed in agony and lost his balance. Jimmy got up and stabbed Josh in the throat and then his eyes. The other bullies got afraid and was about to run until Jimmy went behind and stabbed him in the side of the neck killing him instantly and went to the last bully and stabbed him in the stomach and then his throat. Jimmy went on a PTSD rampage and started attacking whoever drew near him and just killed and killed.

Jimmy woke up in sweat and tried to calm down. He started crying a little as his PTSD vanishes. Krystal woke up easily by his crying and hurried to his room.

"Hey, hey. It's okay." Krystal says as she hugged him and tried to calm him down.

He hugged her tight while he kept crying. Krystal then started to sense of his nightmare and was shocked about it and tried to soothe his mind with her telepathic.

"Its just a nightmare. It's okay. You can sleep with me." She says as she carried him to her room for the night to help Jimmy sleep while keeping his PTSD stable.
