CHAPTER EIGHTY FOUR

"Zian, would you like to come to the ducal's state with me?" I asked her, it's better to ask for her consent than force her to go with me, I'll be a kidnapper in that case

"D-Ducal's state?" She looks so shocked "I would love to!" She started jumping

I laughed, "You're excited, aren't you?"

"I am!"

"By the way, Zian, how old are you?"

"8!"

"You're older than my nephew and niece."

"I am?"

I nod and pat her head, "Go ahead and prepare your clothes, we're going right away."

Her facial expression looks sad, "But, if the people see me going out, they'll be suspicious."

"I see. Is there any way that we can get out of Casterpone Village without being noticed by anyone?"

"Hmmm.." she thought for a while, "That's it! The place where they disappeared! It's a hidden place, but there's a wall in it, it's hard to climb."

"Don't worry, I'll take care of us. Go and take your things now."

"Alright! Wait for me!" She ran towards her room

I used to skip school in the real world, let's just say, I'm a troublemaker. That's why I experienced Eloise's death before, stupidity taking over me, and being blinded by jewelry ever since I become her it's because I didn't grow up with a wealthy family back then

"I'm ready!" She said with a little bag on her

"What's inside that bag?" I asked

"My clothes and my coins," she smiled at me

"How many clothes do you have."

"I have 4, I wear the same thing every day, I also washed them though," she said

Gotta buy this kid some clothes later

"C'mon, let's go,"

We went to the 'hidden' place

"It's pretty high," she said

"Hold on to me," I said and grabbed her to the edge of the wall, "Stay there," I added and she nod

I climbed up and stepped into the woods beside me

I almost slipped but thank goodness I made it

I jumped and I opened my arms for her

"Come on, jump, I'll catch you," I said

She looks so scared and refused to jump

"Don't worry, Zian, I'm here,"

She closed her eyes and jumped into me. I caught her without losing my balance

But I'm surprised how light she is, must be because she lacked the nutrients that her body needs

"Not too scary, isn't it?" I asked and she nods

Now, all I have to do is to find something that could take us home.

I looked around and saw a horse

"Wait here," I said

I examine the horse closely, no one owns this, right?

Hope no one owns this, I'll be screwed

I untied the rope and put Zian into the horse

"Hold tight there, Zian," I said and she just nod

I hopped into the horse and surprisingly, it ran so fast

Zian screams while holding the horse too tight

Hope this thing would take us home safely
