The battle rages on.
Inupi stands before Toman's former Fifth Division Captain. After what he heard about Muto's betrayal, he knew that he was right about not trusting him. Something he regrets though was not telling Nakano sooner.
"Guess I'll be fighting you," Inupi says, his anger rising more by the second. "I'll fucking kill you, then I'll take back Koko."
Muto just stares at him blankly, before turning his back on him. "I will not be fighting you."
Right after that statement, he's attacked from his blind spot. A fist collides with his face, causing him to stumble to the side. Once he recovers, he looks to see who punched him. His eyes widen.
"Koko..."
The black haired male Inupi sees as his best friend is staring him down with his sharp glare. He had gotten a text from Nakano about him staying on the front lines. Inupi assumed that Koko was going to fight with them when they arrived, but he attacked him instead.
"You don't have to pretend that you're on Tenjiku's side anymore! I'm here to take you back!"
"Toman will not make money." That's Koko's immediate response. "Come to Tenjiku, Inupi. A post has even been prepared for you. You'll be in a high position as soon as you join."
"Wha- Position? Money?" Inupi is confused by this. Why is he still putting up the act? Is this an act?
"Grow up!" Koko steps closer so they meet face to face. "Toman is obviously going to lose today! So please. Just for today, leave it to me. I won't do anything bad."
Inupi realizes now. Koko doesn't know. Nakano didn't tell him. Why didn't she tell him? Koko has truly joined the enemy.
"Get your hand off me, Koko," Inupi says firmly. "I've entrusted my life to Nakano. To the Black Dragons, and to Toman. "I'm never going to be in Tenjiku."
Koko tightens his grip on Inupi's shoulder. "Think wisely, Inupi!"
"Right back at you!" Inupi whacks Koko's arm off of him. "You're stupid if you actually believe Nakano joined Tenjiku. Even moreso, you don't even need money anymore! When did you start obsessing over Akane?!"
That last sentence completely rids Koko of his common sense, making him forget what Inupi had just revealed to him about Nakano's true allegiance. In his rage, Koko grabs Inupi's neck, squeezing it so he can't speak anymore.
"The one getting obsessed here is you..." The insanity is starting to show on Koko's face. "Trying to revive the Black Dragons? The hell did you do? It went rotten anyway!"
This only fuels Inupi's fire, giving him the strength to pry Koko's hands off of him. "I admit it, I ruined the Black Dragons! Then how about you start realizing that I'm not Akane! I'm Seishu!!!"
The wind is suddenly knocked out of him when Koko knees him in the stomach. "I... Lived for money..."
Inupi has had enough of listening to this bullshit. "Get over it, Koko!! Akane's already dead!!"
