𝒀𝒆𝒐𝒏𝒋𝒖𝒏 was on his way to heaven, he wasn't excited about it though. the thing was, he wasn't going to see soobin and spent time with him, instead, he had an official meeting with the queens regarding both kingdoms alliance and interests. he could at least say he was glad it wasn't something big and important enough to be discussed in a ball or event held by heaven, as some occasions needed to. in such occasions, he needed someone as company, doesn't matter if queen, possible queen, lover or simply a fling.
he didn't quite know where soobin stood among said titles and having an event of the sort seemed like a bad idea. he wasn't trying to risk getting rejected again, after all.
the demon waited as guards opened the castle's doors before going inside, an angel directing him to where he assumed to be queen's rhea office. when he stepped inside, after a long way of white and boring walls that had too light decorations on, he arrived at the place, opening the door after dismissing the fragile looking angel. jungkook and rhea were inside, calmly talking about something he wasn't interested on.
"rhea. jungkook." yeonjun gave both a simple nod, sitting on an empty chair without waiting for an invitation, a bored and expressionless look on his face. if he was being honest, he couldn't care less about the meeting, he knew his kingdom didn't need anything from heaven, just like himself. in his opinion, heaven was more useless than anything else, but of course, he couldn't say that aloud.
"king daniel. punctual as always." the white haired woman gave him a glare, looking down and organizing some papers on top of her table after. she wouldn't comment on his impoliteness, knowing it wouldn't bring her anything beyond maybe sly remarks she wasn't in the mood to hear.
"of course, i don't have time to spare like you think, rhea." jungkook scoffed with the words, crossing his legs as his spine was straightened in a perfect line while he sat. yeonjun was almost annoyed by it, but the memory of seeing the prince struggle to control his own power against the red haired calmed him down. he could act all tough, but the demon knew he could end him if he wanted, just like he knew the angel still owned him for saving his life. "nice to see you, jungkook. i believe our last encounter was... during the battle to take hell?" the taller smirked, watching as the other tensed in place. "oh no, it was after. i can still quite remember your expression when you saw your brother moani-"
"king daniel, let's not get off topic. you said you don't have time to spare, so let's not waste any." the red haired chuckled, a sly smirk on his lips that made jungkook both disconcerted and annoyed. he wasn't expecting for the soobin topic to be brought up so shamelessly. "jungkook is here present today because he will soon take over the throne, therefore his presence is needed to further his knowledge in the kingdom's matters."
"of course." the red haired licked is lips, a small grin on his face as he nodded his head. "so i assume you have a specific topic of your interest?"
"yes. first, as you took over limbo, our exiled or sentenced citizens are under your care, that brings me to believe we need a new control system for those situations, as the previous one was directly discussed and created with the council." rhea spoke professionally, running her eyes through some paper and averting them to the demon occasionally. she picked a stack of documents, sliding them to the other gently. "i came up with a proposition for said matter, please take a look and return it with your opinion and considerations. it isn't an urgent matter as we can still use the current method provisionally."
"are you worried about giving your people to me, rhea?" yeonjun raised one of his brows, taking the documents from the table and looking through it quickly, he would need to have a better and deeper read later.
