EDWARD'S DEPARTURE HAD caused mixed feelings within the family. Some of them couldn't help but miss him, like Alice, Esme, or even Anastasia. While Carlisle and the others understood why he went away.

Then there's Sebastian. The man didn't know what else to think. Of course, it's not certain that Bella could be Edward's blood singer and mate, there wasn't any proof. He only made that conclusion because of the way Edward was acting.

Still, he could be right. All he can do was wait and see. Thinking about this, he couldn't help but reminisce his memory with a certain Hale.

What they went through was arduous. It wasn't an easy play. Sebastian still couldn't live down the fact that he did leave Rosalie. That gains the question, if he didn't leave her, would she still be human?

Would she have what she has been wishing? A family, kids? Will she marry Royce? Sebastian didn't even know what happened to that scumbag, he didn't care about him.

Where was he when Rosalie was in trouble?

"Penny for your thoughts?" The blonde who has been plaguing his mind cut off the raven-haired's thoughts. "I'm not Edward, but I could tell you're thinking hard."

"It's nothing." He smiled, "Walk with me?"

And so, the two of them ventured out to the openness of the woods. They could feel everything, hear what was going on. The water rushing through the river, the sounds that the animals made.

Just the sound of nature engulfing their senses. It was loud, but weirdly calming. The clamorous mixture of the sound of everything helps his thoughts be kept at bay.

"So, what kept you thinking?"  Rosalie insisted. "You had a look on your face."

Sebastian contemplated on whether he should be honest or not. If he will be, would Rose even understand? She can't even remember him from her past. Still, there's nothing wrong with telling her the truth.

"Rosalie, do you wonder about your mate?" Sebastian tried, stopping and staring at the golden orbs from the woman in front of him. "You know, your person, the one who you'll spend your whole life with."

"Odd question, of course I have." The blonde beauty replied, stopping at the same time. "Have you?"

"I met her, back in 1933. She was an engaged woman with two little brothers. Her Fiancée was the son of the bank owner. One night, I attended a party that Carlisle threw. I didn't want to go, why would I want to when it's full of boring people." The Donovan started.

"I could imagine that." Rosalie chuckled, both of them sitting by the river. Just across was the territory of the wolves. "But you did go, yes?"

"I did, and it was the best decision that I have ever made. In the middle of the room was this mesmerizing woman. She wore a nice white dress that hugged her body perfectly. I couldn't look away. Her curly blonde locks was almost glowing, and a perfect smile etched on her face. Her eyes were hazel, and I could've sworn that the world stopped when our eyes met." He continued.
