"...Why aren't they stopping?"

Sitting atop Falco's large winged Titan, part of the Scouts watched over an army of Colossal Titans steadily marching for the crowded military base sitting in the distance. From above, it looked like a sea of red was slowly engulfing the land around Fort Salta, a mesa standing tall in a barren desert under the late afternoon sun.

"Are you sure you killed Zeke? Maybe he didn't really die." Connie suggested aloud, wariness laced in his voice and tone. Exhaustion and dried stains of blood marked Connie's features as he hung tightly onto the roped-netting spread out on Falco's feathered back, trying not to be blown away by the strong winds blowing past him.

"I'm positive. I watched his head fly off with my own eyes." Levi confirmed somberly, but despite this statement, he uncharacteristically looked a little unsure of himself.

Connie lifted his head in confusion, furrowing his eyebrows at Levi, "Actually, you only have.."

Sitting beside Levi, Mikasa shot Connie a glare, wordlessly shushing him before he could finish his intrusive thought aloud.

"..Nevermind." Connie muttered.

"What if it was the centipede thingy?" Gabi chimed in eagerly, receiving puzzled stares from everyone sitting around her. She only returned their stares with a wide-eyed expression of her own, obliviousness at its finest, as she waited for a reply.

Annie, who sat beside Gabi, gave the young girl a weird look, "What are you talking about?"

"Back in Paradis, I shot Eren's head off with an anti-Titan rifle." Gabi put simply.
