𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛 23: 𝚁𝚞𝚗𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝙼𝚊𝚗 - 𝙸

I groaned as the alarm blared loudly on my nightstand, it was only 4 AM. I have to go and pick up the girls at 5 AM and escort them to the shooting venue before 6 AM.

Apparently, this one is a big collaboration in Running Man. I wasn't told much about what was going to happen. All I know is Red Velvet is involved, and also another group.

I wonder who?

Exiting the shower, I shivered as the cold air from the a/c hit my skin. Pulling on my trousers, I gently tucked in my shirt and lastly tying the black neck tie around my neck. I hate ties, they choke me, but it's our uniform so I can't complain.

This time, I made an effort to make myself look somewhat more than presentable. Because last time, when Red Velvet was on Idol Room, they included me on the set up.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't that special. It was because they were talking about the company and the staffs. The camera pans towards me and I looked like a sleepless zombie.

Never again.

     After messing with my hair until it looked good, I grabbed my backpack with everything that I need today. With that, I locked the door to my apartment before heading towards my car.

When I arrived at the building, the girls were so chaotic! Joy had her hair tangled up with a curling iron, Yeri's looking for a way to make the coffee stain on her top go away, and Seulgi's laughing at them. Oh wow.

Well, Irene and Wendy were just having breakfast in the corner looking so done with the rest. Can't really blame them...

"You're late." Joohyun teased, pointing her fork towards me. Wow, what a nice greeting.

"Good morning, and I'm not late. It's only 4:50 AM, I'm supposed to pick you up at 5." I shrugged, plopping to the couch beside the counter. "I'm early."

"We're here first, so you're late." Wendy agreed, finishing the last bits of her breakfast. "Good morning (Y/n)."

     "Couldn't you have started with that?"

After the other three settled down, all we could do was wait for the car service that will take us to the shooting place. It's pretty chilly and according to the forecast, there might be a snow storm later on, so they had to do it indoors.

     "What's taking them so long?" Yeri asked, double checking her phone for any texts. "They should've arrived a few minutes ago."

     "The storm must be that bad huh?" Sooyoung sighed, slumping on her chair.

     20 minutes have past since our waiting time. The people who'll pick us up should've been here earlier. We couldn't do anything than entertain ourselves while we wait.

     "Hey, do you know who's the other group you'll shoot with?" Out of curiosity, I poked Seulgi who sat beside me. "It wasn't in the memo."

     "I also don't know. Our manager didn't tell us, I guess we'll find out later." She shrugged before dragging me to the pantry. "Did you eat breakfast yet?"
