Somewhere in a dark dimension, a woman peacefully walked through the fancy halls of the castle. She stopped in her tracks in front of a fire light source as the noise of a door being banged on echoed through the halls.
There stood tow figures, a black haired daemos that wore a golden ring on one of his horns and a blonde haired woman adorning beautiful blue clothing. The man continued to bang on the door as he yells and calls out his brothers name to get a response.
"Perhaps he's asleep?" the enchanting voice of a woman spoke up behind the man, he turned to look at his wife as he replied.
"At such a time like this, he should well know his place." he said as the woman spoke again. "Well then my dear, maybe you should remind him" she said as the man said "You're right" and turned towards the door to bang on it once again.
"Come out lesser heir of the great daemos empire! And royal pain in mY-"
"Asch? Asch are you there?"
"bROTHER! OPEN UP!!"
"Whoa!..Perhaps he simply can't hear your knocking!.." A wise voice interrupted their calls as they both turned to the new figure.
"I've been knocking loud enough that the whole castle could hear me!" The man replied with furrowed brows.
Lady Grandma hummed as she blinked slowly "Maybe..just maybe..Asch isn't in there.." she said with a nonchalant expression.
"Nonsense! He's supposed to be in there getting ready." he said as he turned and knocked on the door yet again.
"OPEN UP!!" he yelled as his wife stepped towards Lady Grandma, finally speaking up after staying silent.
She looked at the figure in front of her. "Lady Grandma! A pleasure to see you on this fine day!" she greeted in a formal tone as she bowed gracefully.
Lady Grandma stared at her, unimpressed at her behaviour, "Bite your tounge, I don't need respect from you." she replied with a slightly deadpanned expression.
"oh that's not fair grandmother..you must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed this morning!" she said in that same sickeningly sweet tone.
"Did i give you permission to call me grandmother?" Lady grandma ignored her attempts to please with furrowed brows.
"Oh come now..I've been married to Rahl for many moons, why won't you accept me as part of your-" her answer was interrupted as Rahl continued to yell out for his brother behind her.
She grew irritated as she yelled "Oh would you stop that incessant banging?!" she yelled at her husband as he continued to bang on the door.
"URGH, HE'S NOT COMING OUT!!" he said angrily as he turned to the ladies behind him. "he must not be inside" he said with a tone of realisation.
Lady Bish deadpaned at her husband as Lady Grandma continued to stare nonchalantly. He looked at his grandmother as he spoke, "Mee-Maw, Asch is said to attend the crisis summit in two hours and he's not here! He will be punished for his not being here." he stated as Lady Grandma replied.
"Oh? Now, wherever could he be?.." she said with an innocent tone and expression. Lady Bish seemed to see through her obvious facade as she replied, "I don't suppose you know?" she said with narrowed eyes before it changed into a sweet closed eye smile "We've been ever so worried!" she continues as Lady Grandma continued to play along her facade.
"Ohoho! I'm just a cute old lady! I can't possibly keep up with you's..who knows where any of my grandchildren went off to? Certainly not me.." she spoke with a really well done facade.
"Mee-Maw, if Asch doesn't go to the summit then I have to go to the summit and if I have to go to the summit then i have to- you know! Be there!?" Rahl spoke up with a rather irritated tone.
"A crowned Prince's work includes attending summits."
"Even the?!-"
"Yes even the boring ones." Lady grandma replied as Rahly puffed his cheeks and Lady Bish cleared her throat which catches Lady Grandma's attention.
"Perhaps i could attend my darlings meeting in his stead?" Lady Bish spoke as Lady Grandma quickly replied.
"Wench."
"What?" Lady Bish replied with an offended expression.
"Wrenching matters such as magic crisis are no places for no comers of the royal family." she answered casually, intending to target Bish.
"I know you may not accept me as a member of the Royal family yet but someday i will be Queen. What's wrong ascends the throne." Bish replied as Lady Grandma simply laughed it off.
"Psh! Don't remind me!" she said as Rahl started yelling again. "This is the worst! Where is Asch?! I have training i dont wanna go to the summit." he yelled like a little whiny child as he banged on the door til it broke into pieces.
Lady Grandma groaned at this as she closed her eyes for a moment before looking at her grandson again. "Calm down Rahl, ill attend the summit at your place." she stated as this clearly made Rahl perk up.
He turned to her with shining eyes as he asked "Really?" before shaking his head and walking towards his grandmother and bowing. "Thank you.." he said as Lady Bish narrowed her eyes at Lady Grandma, she knew she was hiding something and she will find out.
"Asch is pacing out on his duties again, I will pummel him straight into the ground if he wasn't so-" he paused to hit his palm with his fist "Valuable" he continued as Lady Bish started clapping in amusement in the background.
"Now now! Your brother's already had enough brushes with death as it is" she said as she looked up at her grandson. "Why don't you go and pummel your soldiers in training for the day?" she suggested as Rahl scoffed, lowering his arms to his sides.
"Right." he replied as he walked away with Lady Bish in tow. Lady Bish looked back at Lady Grandma as she narrowed her eyes before continuing on her tracks.
As Lady Grandma made sure they were fully gone she sighed. "Well they've already noticed you're missing Asch, what i could do for you now is buy you time." she muttered with a concerned expression, her nonchalant facade fading out of existence.
She turned around to continue her walk down the halls as she could only imagine how long she could keep this up.
