opposites attract

I sit on the floor slumped with my face puffy and wet from tears .
I have to move again this is the second time I'm moving schools . I know it's not a lot but it's a-lot of stress on me .I grab my clothes that are thrown all over my room and shove them into my suit case .
I get a message on my phone from my dad saying ' Blair . Your taxi will be here soon to pick you up please don't be late .'
I scroll off immediately I don't want to think about the move at all . If only my mother was here with me but still she never cared about me as much anyways .
My face dampens again with a tear rolling down . The last time I saw my mother was me and her arguing over a little thing as she usually would start arguments for no reason .

I hear the car beep outside . I quickly grab my suitcase and my 2 backpacks with a duffel bag to be exact . I struggle with them down the grand marble stairs as i try to calm down my breathing .

I get into the car slamming the door and riding my palms up and down against my thighs as they sweat up . I really shouldn't be this nervous right ? It's only a school no one will even notice a new girl there right ? Wrong. They probably will all notice it's all the same with my other schools I go in all the girls give me dirty looks and try to start shit and clearly someone makes up some kind of problem with me and does some digging up and leaks what happened in the past schools. I shake my head trying not to think about it. I stare out the window as I see the car leave my house further and further as it drives into the dark trees .

I can see the dark stone tall building with black lacquer gates and lots of trees surrounding it from the distance. My pulse goes up as we get closer as my palms get clammy . I hear the wheels against the stone pebbles that alerts me that we have arrived .
My driver parks near the entrance and opens the door for me . I reply with " I need a moment " as I smile not mentioning that my heart feels like it's gonna explode as i gesture to close the door .
I finally gather courage to get out as the driver has already went inside to sign me in and I'm stood in the middle of an unfamiliar place to me . "It's starting to rain already . Great " as i mumble to myself as my black knitted sweater is getting drenched i slowly look around and start heading towards the enterance. I fast walk with my head down and arms wrapped around my shoulders as .

BUMP .
i swivel my head up and realise as I have bumped into a tall figure. My cheeks redden as i look up.
"Oh my gosh im so sorry I'm so blind I need to start looking where I'm going " my stomach warms up and I'm too embarrassed to keep looking at him as I start walking away until someone pulls me by my arm stopping me. My body freezes as I turn around "wait, your soaking " he says to me it takes me a moment to find some words to reply to him . I say " yeah I know it started raining as soon as I got here I didn't even pack any warm clothes "
"Sorry Im waffling on " as I stop myself from walking
"Yeah you should stop talking I'm not interested. But I'm interested in who you are ." He replies to me in a cold tone. I'm caught off gaurd as he sounded nice at the start ,guess i thought wrong. I say " yeah I just got here I'm a new student " I want to fall underground and never see daylight . "Here's my jacket you need it ." As he hands me his jacket to prevent me from getting soaked even more . " thank you" I mumble as i drape it over my shoulders and start walking away .
