Chapter Thirty two- Commotion

After getting some rest, Camila turned and looked outside from the window and saw that it was already getting dark. She went to her closet and brought out a blue velvet, flare gown. It was beautiful. After putting the clothe on, she wore her black velvet heels and packed her hair in a neat bun, bringing two strands out on each side of her face.

She went downstairs and saw that everyone was already prepared, including Priscilla. "Come on, let's get going." Saxe said as they went outside. James was looking really cool, with his blue suit. His hair was neatly trimmed and shiny.

They took one of the biggest SUVs, so it could contain them all. Sarah wasn't an exception. As they went, Camila and James chatted at the back with Sarah. They really got along, even though they have never met each other before, except now.

Few minutes later, they were at the gates of Harrison. They showed the security man their pass card, before driving inside. The compound was over congested with many beautiful cars. They alighted from the car and went in. Saxe greeted the people he knew from the door. Some of which were his colleagues or clients.

Camila, Sarah and James went to sit at a long couch close to the wall, while Priscilla went to talk to Harrison's wife. Camila, James and Sarah chatted as they were served drinks. When Camila turned to look for Sale, she saw him with a group of people, so he was ok.

Later on, James and Sarah went to take something from the car, leaving Camila alone there. "Do you mind if I sit with you?" She heard someone say from her side.

She turned and saw a handsome guy standing close to her. His eyes were as blue as the sky, and his lips were like strawberries. He looked like a demi god, making his red velvet Armani suit look good on him.

"No, you can sit." Camila said, loosing control over herself. He did as she said, and faced her.

"So, are you here alone?" He asked her smiling. She liked the fact that he was talking to her, even though she was pregnant.

"No, I actually came with my parents and siblings." She told him.

"Ok." He said, taking a sip from his wine. "I least expected a beautiful girl like you to be this heavily pregnant." He said, looking at her baby bump. Camila chuckled in response. He looked a little bit older than Kelvin though.

They discussed for a very long time before Sarah and James came back. They had ice creams in their hands. They handed one over to Camila. They stared at the guy in surprise. "Oh, didn't even introduce myself. I'm Smith." He said, giving his hand out to Camila for a handshake.

"And I'm Camila." She responded, smiling at him, as she took his hand. She was happy that at least a guy can look her way. But there was no way she was letting him in her life. She just wanted him as a friend and nothing else.

Just as their hands were still joined together, they felt their hand separated with full force by someone. They turned and saw Kelvin. He looked like shit. "What in the world do you think you're doing?" Kelvin asked, looking at Smith.

"Hey bro, calm down." Smith said, shoving him aside. Kelvin reddened at this and grabbed Smith by his collar.

"You piece of shit, how dare you hold my woman in the public?" Kelvin asked him violently.

"Stop this madness Kelvin!!" Camila said, when she was fed up with Kelvin's nonchalant behavior.

"Leave me Camila, let me teach this fool a lesson." Kelvin said, as his hand went up to Smith's face, giving him a heavy blow.

Smith pushed him away and punched his stomach. They started fighting, drawing the attention of everyone present at the party. Harrison ran to the scene and saw what was happening. He looked very angrily at Kelvin. He walked to Kelvin, grabbed his shirt, and slapped him hard on his face.

"What have come over you?" Harrison asked him loudly. By this time, everyway was quiet. Everyone stood to watch what will entail. Kelvin held his cheek, still standing in front of Harrison. Camila on the other hand, started crying.

"Take me home dad." She said, when Saxe came to her. She immediately ran into the car. She wept bitterly as they all went home. Kelvin is now behaving like a psychopath. She never want to see him.

As they got to the house, Camila ran upstairs to her room and wept. They could hear her voice from outside her room. When she was tired, she went to bed.

The next morning, Camila was up early, but she was feeling pains round her abdomen. She was rushed to the hospital by Saxe that morning. Priscilla also went with him, while Sarah stayed at home with James. Priscilla was worried about her daughter. She didn't want anything to happen to either her nor the baby.

Camila was immediately admitted into the hospital and the doctor started checking her. When he was done, he turned to Saxe and Priscilla. "Well, she's alright now. The pain occurred due to some kinds of stress, which is injurious to the child and her too." The doctor explained to them.

"Ok, thank you doctor." Saxe said, as the doctor went out.

"You can go to work now, I will stay with her now." Priscilla told Saxe.

"Ok." He said, pecking her cheeks before leaving. She brought some food for Camilla so she won't be hungry and she also gave her some of the drugs the doctor administered to her.

Soon after, Camila fell asleep. Priscilla made her sleep well, by tapping her.
Afternoon reached, and Camila wasn't yet awake. Priscilla also slept off as well. Then suddenly, the room door opened. Priscilla rubbed sleep off her eyes as she stared at who was at the door. She didn't expect to see that person. He walked in and sat close to Camilla. Camila felt someone's presence around her and she opened her eyes.
