There was a lone guard in a golden hallway. He was basically about to fall asleep until he was startled alert when someone put their hand over his mouth and yanked him away. His screams were silenced.

"That's not too bad." Karasuma commented as he chocked the guard out until he passed out. "Looks like a good portion of my mobility is back. I think I'm up to about half strength."

The class sweatdropped. "Which means you're about twice as badass as an average human being..."

"Why didn't we just send him on this mission alone?"

Karasuma could only roll his eyes as he looked around the corner to see a set of stairs that's supposed to lead up to where the mastermind of this whole mission was. Everyone was starting to get nervous about the mastermind's reveal.

However, Y/n couldn't help but feel scared. He didn't really know what or who this person could be, and it scared him that he didn't know. Usually, during mission that Shiro would send him on, he would know everything beforehand, but this wasn't something that Shiro made him do so he knew nothing. Y/n didn't like it. He couldn't help but overthink the situation at hand.

"Children..." Koro-sensei called out, making Y/n snap out of his head and thoughts. "...it occurs to me the mastermind waiting for us above is not attuned to his resources. In fact, thus far his hired hands have been egregiously misused."

Everyone's eyes widened at the information that Koro-sensei had come up with. Y/n looks down at the guard that Karasuma took out and slowly began to realize what type of person this mastermind is. His eyes widened in horror and gulped down his fear.

"Lookouts, glorified bounces, this isn't how one employs assassins." Koro-sensei explained. "If our foe had aligned the men we've encountered with their skill set they'd have been fearsome indeed."

Chiba thought back to when he could've been shot in the forehead by Gastro. "You've got a point." He muttered. "The last guy wasn't off target by so much as a centimeter..."

Koro-sensei seemed to nod. "And consider Karma and Y/n's opponent, normally the man would have simply snuck up behind them and crush their windpipes before we even knew of his existence."

Y/n flinched as he bit the tip of his nail as Karma looked down. "No doubt, sure..." Karma added.

Y/n continued to bite his nail as he looked down. His nerves seemed to have gotten the better of him since he almost made himself bleed. 'So, I was right about this person being a government official...' He thought to himself. 'But the only person from the government that we know of is Mr. Karasuma and Sir, but Sir isn't here, and Mr. Karasuma is just as clueless as us... So... that means...' Y/n's eyes widened in horror. 'That means it's Mr.-!'

A small cough and a grunt were heard from behind Y/n cutting him off from his thoughts. He furrowed his brows in worry as he looked behind him and noticed that Terakasa was sweating profusely and coughing silently in his shirt.

Y/n narrowed his eyes slightly as he walked up to Terakasa silently and raised his hand. He lightly pressed his hand on Terakasa's neck, and his eyes widened. Terakasa, who felt something on his neck, look down and noticed Y/n. His eyes widened.

"What's your deal?" Terakasa asked, trying to keep cool.

"Terakasa, you're burning up." Y/n said worriedly but then his eyes widened in realization. "Wait didn't you drink-" He was cut off when Terakasa covered his mouth.

Terakasa had a look of desperation for Y/n not to talk any louder. "Shut up, I'm fine. Look, I've got stamina to spare. It's just a fever. My system will kick it out."

Y/n furrowed his brows in concern as he careful took Terakasa's hand off of his mouth. "But you can't! That fever is deadly!" He whispered sharply. "Why did you even come here??"

"Hush! Why do you care so much? I'm doing this for the class, Y/n." Terakasa claimed.

Y/n gripped onto Terakasa's arm with worry. "We just became friends again; I can't have you dying on me! You could've just stayed at the hotel! Everything would've been fine as long as you rest."

Terakasa shook his head as he glared at the ground. "Damn it, Mr. K almost died because of me. If I hadn't been an idiot, he wouldn't have gotten gassed."

"But at least it wasn't poison gas! Terakasa, you're poisoned!"

"I don't care!" Terakasa snapped with a desperate look in his eyes. "Don't you remember what I've done to you, to the class?? Mr. K being gassed wasn't the first crap I pulled that nearly cost everyone their lives!" His hand clutched into a fist. "If I drop out, I'll bring the mission down. Who cares if I'm sick, I'm not gonna do that..."

Y/n trembled slightly. "Terakasa... I can't just... I can't just watch as you sacrifice yourself..."

Terakasa seemed to flinch, but he shook his head and yanked his arm out of Y/n's hold as he followed the rest of the class to move on. "You're just gonna have to. I'm sorry, but I promised to myself that I would make it up to everyone because of what I've done."

Y/n could only watch as Terakasa walked away from him. His jaw clenched as his brows furrowed more with concern and ache. He looked down at his teddy as he was loosely holding onto it.

'Stupid...' Y/n thought, small tears pricked his eyes as he quickly wiped them away. 'Stupid mission...'
