I was out delivering noodles as usual; I was listening to my music and while I was heading to the customer's home address, when suddenly I was surrounded by Speedy Panda
"Uh... Oh boy" Then I got beat up by them and they even destroyed the customer's order
"I had it up to here with those Speedy Panda Delivery brick heads! They've been sabotaging me all week!" I shouted as I placed an ice pack on my face and Sakura patching up my arm
"I don't understand why they're even doing this, but they really did take it too far on beating you up" Sakura said as she finished patching me up
"Those punks with that flash frozen microwave junk! Convenience can never replace a traditional home cooked family recipe" Pigsy said as he looked at the pictures that he has on the wall
"Yeah, but they do it quicker" I said and Pigsy glared at me "All I'm saying is... Maybe you could afford to pick up the pace"
"Pick up the pace? You're the delivery climber, you pick up the pace! Every noodle from Pigsy's Noodle Shop is hand crafted from scratch with love and care. It's what our customers have come to expect" Pigsy said
"Don't you worry about me Pigsy. I'm a loyal customer" Tang said
"More like a loyal freeloader" Pigsy said with a deadpanned look, making Tang gasped
"I'm telling you Pigsy if something doesn't change, we're gonna be run out of business!" I said as I jumped on the counter
"MK, can you please get down from the counter?" Sakura asked me softly
"You two don't get it, except for Sakura. I pour my heart into this place, from the pots to the utensils even my grandmother's antique windows" Pigsy said as he closed the window, and a brick broke the window
"Oh no, not your grandmother's window Uncle Pigsy! Huh? The brick has a note attached to it" Sakura said as she handed Pigsy the note
"Hmm. Attention Pigsy's Noodles, prepare for your worst nightmare! We challenge you to Food Wars to determine which restaurant truly reign supreme. Signed Speedy Panda" Tang read the note out loud
"So... Someone gonna tell me what the dunk what Food Wars is?" I asked and Pigsy is surrounded by fire as he started to explain about what Food Wars
"Food Wars, the ultimate arena for chefs who dook it out! Where the victors are hailed supreme above all others! Speedy Panda, I accept your challenge!" Pigsy said
"Pigsy is really getting pumped up, huh?" I said to Sakura
"I know, when it comes to cooking competitions, he gets like this" Sakura said and she sighed "I hope the war gets sorted out soon, I can't imagine what would happen if I was beaten up"
When Sakura said those words, Pigsy, Tang and I tensed up when Sakura said that. Seeing Sakura getting beat up by those punks without a care
"As if I'll let them hurt you! If they ever laid a finger on you, I'll make them regret it!" I said
"That's agreeable! As if we'll let them lay a hand on you!" Tang yelled and Pigsy nodded
No One P.O.V At Food Wars Arena
"Welcome one and all to Food Wars! Today, two teams will compete in three rounds in food combat in order to be crowned supreme restaurant champion! Introducing first is Pigsy's Noodle shop, Pigsy and his assistant MK!" The MC announced as Pigsy and MK were shown
"Hey, Pigsy. Where's Sakura?" MK whispered to Pigsy
"To be honest with you kid, I have no idea" Pigsy admitted
